How to join the EU fresh start server?

Hello,
I’m just wondering how I can login on the new EU WotLKC fresh start servers on August 31st, 2022?

Will in the Battle.net app, for the index tab WoW Classic, the new game WotLKC appear in the drop-down menu so that I can download, or do I have to install BCC and look for the fresh start servers there?

Will there be preloading for WotLKC available, for people with a very slow internet connection, that want to enjoy the content with their friends from the first minute?

Will BCC disappear / be replaced by WotLKC or will you still be able in the future to have the BCC-only experince?

I don’t have definitive answers for you. Perhaps someone else will. Or this page may answer some:

I’d also keep my eye on this forum:

as well as the News page

I would be as certain as I can be that WotLK will appear in your Battle.net as soon as it is available for prepatch.

I will say that in my Battle.net app I can see Wrath Classic PTR available for installation. The way Blizzard do downloads now is, if you have a PTR installation, you don’t have to download the whole game at launch; the Battle.net Installer sees the PTR version already there, and uses it, only updating whatever last minute changes were made when going live. So downloading that seems like a good thing to do.

I expect that most TBC realms will continue into Wrath, but a couple will be left behind on TBC.

Great, thank you very much for this detailed answer!

I think for now I’ll follow your advice and download the PTR client soon!

1000 thanks again

Wait until they come back up. Wrath pre-patch will replace TBC.
