Shadow doesn’t do burst dps really, so its ill suited for world pvp. You can do some damage between mindbender, cyclotron trinket, and death throes + Spiteful apparitions traits though.
Go and farm Deepcoral Bud. This item transform you into a god in nazjatar. Go and have fun till it last 
. And use normal pvp build DT SA and max insta damage - insight-intang-misery- your choice - sw:death - bender - legacy. Greater fade(crucial), origins and psyfiend for slow. Crucible of flame essence major and for minor im running lucid and conflict. You will kill anything with dots and instants meanwhile kiting them forever (even multiple ppl)
edit: in normal world like kultiras etc you cannot make an sp-beast for world pvp, our class just doesnt have the toolkit to stand against basicaly any melee that have semi decent clue about the game in 1v1.
Psyfiend + Gladiators Maledict will kill almost anyone
But be careful how you use Psyfiend. Too close to melee and they one shot it, so fear them first, or stun, or close the gap with greater fade and a swiftness potion.
