I can’t launch WoW. After the latest patch - classic HC, WoW won’t launch. I’ve tried everything: reinstalling WoW/Battlenet, updating Windows, scanning and repairing, Direct11. Whatever the cause, the only thing that’s changed since it was working is the new patch.
I had this problem earlier with retail WoW to, now I had it with classic yesterday. Seemed it was caused by my anti virus scanner (AVG).
Put the classic wow folder in your exeption list so the virus scan will ignore that when you press play. That got my classic game working right away.
