You think you did, but you didn’t. BB
I’ve seen the Horde players on Gandling and for Alliance it simply doesn’t look fun to try and level. Shame you gotta quit though but honestly I don’t really blame you.
Cheers pal. Well as much as I hate to say and do it, I think sometimes the only way you can make a point is if you quit. If blizzard really do chase the money then they will lose my sub, and many more I would of thought.
What makes me sad is that i can’t even reach max level, it’s not possible to quest in open world for more than 2mins in Flamelash without getting ganked by 4/5/6 hordes. Doing dungeons should be an option but we don’t have enough allies now to do them (at least for my lvl range). My guild had around 40/50 people online everyday before P2, now when i log in we have less than 10.
This should have been addressed by Blizzard, and should be easy to fix (even if it goes against the no changes cult squad). It’s better to protect the health of every servery than dooming them in the long run.
The lvl60 gank squads should not be able to pvp against people that is lvling, that way they would have more lvl60 to pvp with in a short term.
I decided to reroll on Alliance but there’s no way in hell I’m playing on a PvP server.
I think the only time they will fix it is when they don’t get the subs for shadowlands. Then they will try and fix classic to try and get some subs back. At the minute it doesn’t matter to them I suppose.
Everyone can agree that a 1 faction domination is not good or healthy for the game. But it is inevitable and natural.
Most people will always choose the winning side to make their life easier and game experience more bearable, no matter if they like the faction or not. Or move to a server where his favorite faction is on the dominant side. It is the same human behavior irl and it will naturally leads to 1 sided.
Balanced and fair pvp will only happen in BG. Whoever expects world pvp to be balanced is simply unrealistic.
All top pop EU retail pvp servers were extremely 1 sided with 10 to 1 even 20 to 1 faction ratio. 15 years experience has shown that faction balance can never be achieved. It is not because how Blizzard designs racials, pvp, etc, it is simply human behavior and nature.
Every large population PVP server will end 1 sided, inevitably. Blizzard can’t do anything, except forcing people to change faction/server with a faction limit/queue, which will lead to more players quit than just OP.
By the time Shadowlands hype peters out, Classic will have run its course, they’ll just release TBC servers
Oh hey Zalanji lol. At this point, I’d welcome TBC. Arena was a lovely thing.
I’m sorry to see you go, Elandra. For what it’s worth, I’ve also been plagued by the relentless waves of Hordes literally camping every single zone 24/7 ( no exaggeration ). I was playing on Stonespine which is one of the worst servers to play as alliance.
I rerolled to Mirage Raceway last Wednesday and I’ve been having a lot of fun in there. Got myself into a very nice, friendly guild and I’ve even met a lot of people who, like me, also rerolled from Stonespine. I know that you said that you’re not interested in PvE realms, but I would urge you to give this one a try. It’s worth it.
Best of luck!
You’re damn right. It is unfortunate that we have to endure this and blzrd does nothing to do with it… Let’s believe that karma will do what it deserves to the shameless orcs
So what do you guys actually propose here? what should Blizzard do? They´ll release BGs earlier than planned. They cant change people, so what do you want them to do? Actually tell me what it is that you want? i only see crying when i fly through all these posts.
I´m curious now.
A lot of pvp players have no understanding and irrational hate for pve servers. They refuse to play on pve servers, even it solves all their problems and complaints.
Thankyou for your reply buddy. Ahh that’s good. I’m happy you’ve found something better.
Since phase 2 came out I rolled another character but on the same server. It’s definitely better at lower levels but levelling up knowing what’s at the end takes the wind out of your sails a little.
I just love pvp servers. The fun I’ve had with my friends in the jungle killing and being killed in small scale evenish fights was just the best time I’ve ever had with this game over 15 years. Killing that raptor but spinning your camera around and around looking for incoming horde excites me and gets the blood pumping.
Before the honour system, it was better. Yeah you had the odd 60 come and camp you a bit but that’s all part of the pvp realm experience. Now people travel around with no personality just combing zones for honour points.
In my eyes the problems are, over bloated populations, faction imbalance and the honour system in world pvp. I know that’s controversial but without a gain other than fun, world pvp felt more organic back before it was implemented.
I play at Skullflame Alliance lev 40 it’s not that bad. If things is as people say, they coud try some things like 1 top area be sanctuary and rotate it weekly, can’t gain honor in areas you outlevel a lot. Eather way i dont mind, I play nelf the best corpse runers.
Enough to answer these orcs, who advises you to go to pve server. They are either really stupid people or they just troll you.
You must be mentally retarded to compare non-stop rape/genocide and wpvp/pvp.
I came home from work joyful, with the thought of playing my favorite game, I have only a few hours in the evening when I can do it. The road to the UBRS took an hour and ate half of the time I allocated for the game this evening. The horde simply lined up from FP to entrance and even having a blink and a iceblock I died about 20 times.
Same for me. We have a baby now so time to play is more limited than ever. I wanted to just hand in a quest in moonglade and had to run through Felwood. There were around 5-6 packs of horde waiting at even spreads up the path where you could res from a ghost after the first pack got you. There was a pack at both of the gy too to catch anyone gy releasing.
It’s like you said, there is a difference between wpvp and just being farmed for points.
It definitely wasn’t like this in vanilla. I think the honour system haha changes natural world pvp encounters, into what seems like a seabed travel picking up all available kills in a zone. It’s completely against the sport and nature of what a pvp realm is.
People from a pve realm wont understand this and seem to think that the answer lies in transferring from a pvp realm to a pve realm. All that does is creates bigger populations on already over bloated pve realms, and further more imbalances pvp realms where numbers matter more.
Running around handing in quests without any danger is boring. Trying to hand in quests where you don’t live any longer than 10 seconds is also boring. This needs to be changed now.
You know how long my road to UBRS took last night? 3 minutes. Wanna know how?
Why are people stupid if they tell you to play on a PvE server? This would solve all your problems.
It´s not like the pvp massacres could´ve been foreseen back when Blizzard announced their plan for the phases.
You know you can still turn on pvp flag and doing world pvp on PvE servers, right?
