I miss dungeons

When it meant to explore and getting lost in dungeons, secret doors unlocked by keys and no need to rush for loot.

Then you’re missing them since TBC.

You mean rush for the io?

People are constantly getting lost in straight corridors and open spaces right now. Don’t ask me how, they just are.

Doing BRD, lower Black rock spire or even wailing caverns during the Classic launch months was amazing and i hope you got to experience that.

As now it’s all gone once again.

now your talking about the pre mythic+ era don’t see that coming back any time soon.

Mistcaller be like: am I a joke to you?

Be glad you ress inside dungeons now and not at a graveyard. There were runs in Deadmines that just died because people couldn’t get back to the entrance

Mr SMITE. Deal with them.

best dungeon in the game. From an era of the Goonies, I still remember doing this on my rogue for the first time. Getting my ole red bandana before entering Ofc!!

Good times.

Getting lost in BRD was common. Place was huge.

Red bandana was bis!

Maraudon was another, especially getting people to the right entrance.

I love the Classic dungeons, and I think modern WoW should have way more of this stuff. M+ can be a subset of bosses, idc.

In Legion they had a pretty good thing going with optional extra bosses locked behind profession quests. It was really small, but the germ of the idea was there and they’d done it well.

And I was sitting there like: Can we do this except copy-paste it 130 times with various different difficulty levels? Pleeeeaease?

And Blizz was like: No. How about island expeditions? =)

:frowning:

This place was like the first taste of raiding. It took absolutely forever. And everyone forgot about the crocodile boss after killing princess! Had to tell people not to leave before the pull. Remember the first time discovering the croc when I fell by accident.

Another amazing dungeon. And hellish to reach as alliance on a PvP server.

My god that sounds like hell.

I’d rather languish for eternity in the Maw than experience something like that.

I remember those! Caused many of them! Or Sunken Temple…ugh…loved that dungeon when it was so big though!

Whatever happened to the bottom part I wonder…is it just erased?

Blackrock mountain is always confusing too

Aye it was as soon as TBC that 5mans were massively shortened. Since then they have felt somewhat samey, that was until mega-dungeons but unfortunately for me at this point Mythic+ timed had completely taken over and I despise timed anything in games.

Most bc dungeons were already just a tube where you squeezed your team through.

Only true dungeons were the original vanilla ones that took time to complete.

They had to slim some dungeons down to make them work for LFD. The original Wailing Caverns is larger too.
