I will forever miss You ♥

How were the doxxing you? How did they get IRL pictures of you or anyone else. And why would a bunch of people in M+ say you talk poop. People turning on each other in mythic plus which is a more stressful pug environment is not uncommon.

Harassment should not be tolerated and you can put players on ignore, you can report them to Blizzard. I’m not sure how anyone would be sharing your personal data in game. If it’s on a third party platform that is beyond Blizzard’s remit. If it’s in game they can check logs etc and see what happened.

There is no reason to be scared to report something.

I do not know about the OPs situation, but i do know that AD has (or maybe had since i haven’t seen any drama from it leak onto the forums recently) a facebook group and if you link your real facebook account to it, you know, it can lead to doxxing.

Though if its not through the facebook group, then OP should be a little more careful with who they share pictures with online.

it sucks either way though, I am sorry to hear about it OP.

Wow this is horrible :frowning:

Just wait for Classic. You can leave the past behind you, whatever happened.

We all start at level 1, no money, no gear, no achievements, no history. Clean slate. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you see stuff like this in live, record it. Upload as “unlisted” into youtube and send link to blizzard as email. I recommend the free OBS for recording.

… or i can’t exactly find an email for that. Best option is to right click player ingame when it’s happening and report.

can confirm I do that too A LOT.
ask me now and ill share it again.

well the bad part is, you could mail some things to their parents and its pretty hilarious :joy: but yeah some people are super spooked so that’s up to them I guesss

From what I’ve seen you post on here, you appear to be someone we’d welcome.

I agree but they will only be able to deal with the in-game stuff, the doxxing will be something that authorities outside of the game should be dealing with. If what the OP said is true I’d be reporting constantly for the harassment if it were me, I don’t tolerate people like this.

This is not always the case, although I agree that you have to be cautious with people on the internet. Facebook just isn’t worth it full stop, if you require a website to keep in touch with friends/family then something is seriously wrong. I deleted my Facebook about 4 years ago and have had better interactions with the people I know.

Imagine lots of people hated you and one person released all your personal information (name/address/contact/email/dob and even more), it could give others the chance to abuse this information to bother you, harm you or even commit identity theft. It really isn’t a laughing matter.

my way of dealing whit toxic people, troll them and troll them hard, now I do not meen you start to swear at them at all, ask them horribly stopid question, like why is a banan yellow, and tell them stuff also like, it can snow in middle of summer you know, anything that is totaly not relevant to anything, most of the time, they have no idea what to do after that, when they se their behaviour has no efffect on you, and due to what they have said, they can not report you eighter, becuse you never done anything wrong , and that would get them banned instead, most of the time they ignore you and you never have to deal whit them, also you can have lots of fun whit it, always every whisper every comment you have take pictures, post them, no names offcourse, but post them, sooner or later someone sees is and realices who that person was, oh and report them lol, it works wonders at times also.

Well human relations are going down the drain because of the internet, that’s no secret.
People are generally less toxic if they get punched in the face when they step out of line. Alas that doesn’t happen online and a-holes have free rein.

I guess the only way you can become a victim of doxing is when you openly share your personal info in instagram, facebook wow groups and so on. With screenshots of your character with nicknames, server names and maybe even friend list.

And tbh, its your own fault when this info becomes a tool for trolling or insulting you.

No info shared-no problems. Simple
