I don’t know if these guys do that kind of crap, but I know there were some discord groups who swarmed anyone who didn’t agree with them on the story forums, someone exposed them.

I might have missed some of the conversation, but based on what I saw, the whole situation was terribly mismanaged if the OP was really banned. The drama was caused by another member for something which happened on the forums, not on discord, and I clearly remember OP apologizing, even after the other person used really vulgar language towards him. So no, the OP is entirely right to be salty, when almost everyone who was online at that time jumped on him.
(Sorry at all the people who manage the discord, but that’s my honest opinion)

this is yet another example of why Gamers needed more bullying when growing up.
It really is a much bigger deal. That’s cyber-bullying, and conspiracy to lockout all other peoples thoughs and ideas. Generally because one dude didn’t like it, so the rest have to come justify that users dislike, and threads get flagged, and reported.
That’s pathetic.

That’s not what I am reading here. I’m reading the exact thing I am talking about, wether you believe i mean that you harm, harmless posts, or threads for the laugh. or actual horrible threads that have cuss words, and such or strong beliefs in them, or an idea, or way of thought.
Is not any of my business.
But a community dedicated to the forums where one user links a post, and one community makes a vote wether its ok, or not seems very dangerous. And a problem.
But you might need to sacrifice your firstborne and swear an oath to serve our lord le Grandelf the Green Prodigy,

I think there is something quite spiteful about those who seek to badmouth a community that was created in the spirit of the forums and has held various events involving the regulars. Things like achievement runs, War games, curve, RP etc and on both factions.
As the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished

I completely understand your point.
In fact I haven’t joined a guild yet because of this option, or I might say issue, of mine.
Same goes with FF Discord, I have left many times because of personal disagreement or because of my personal behavior.
I have never been kicked or banned even if I’m not the most pleasant individual, especially when it comes to gameplay discussions.

I’ve stayed out of this thread because I didnt feel it was my place to talk.
However I do want to interject here and say they did not apologise.
Their “apology” was a passive aggressive way to try and spin things so they looked like a good guy while still maintaining the idea they did nothing wrong.
There was nothing sincere in what they said.
Anyways thats all I have to say on the matter here

to be fair, i did hop on the server to stalk and they dont coordinate any forum business on the discord unless its some hidden channel
but they do have cliques, they do have some rude ppl, they do ignore eachother intentionally or unintentionally and if your name happens to be torok youll get kinda bullied for no reason
but all in all its a normal community despite having people who farm for the rights to post pictures on a forum 
still, not a place for me personally
