Trying to level an alt on Gehennas Alliance, questing in 40+ zones is impossible because there is simply too much people and horde to alliance ratio seems to be 5:1 or so, some quests are not doable unless I ask my 60 lvl friends to clean the zone off horde for me which I have been doing so far.
I don’t mind competing for mobs but having 10 people wandering around one quest looking for mob tags is awful, when I leveled my main I did not have this problem at all so this must have something to do with blizzard removing layers from too populated servers.
Seems like when I level my next alt the leveling has to be done inside dungeons only.
An easy fix is to transfer to a new realm. I just transfered from Firemaw to Earthshaker and it feels great! Mega servers are fun but its also fun to play on a medium realm with authentic population and better community.
yeah too many ppl around, every questmob has it’s spawnpoint camped to the point that in some locations there are more players, than mob spawnpoints.
sure grouping helps for kill quests, but if you have to collect loots or click objects in the world gl.
-Quest with a group
I constantly keep looking for people to quest with from general chat and rarely getting anyone
-Spam dungeons
No thanks
-Roll on a lower pop server
Yeah I’ll ditch my friends who I rolled to gehennas with and all the new friends I’ve made during classic.
Yeah questing during prime time is generally awful. I’m doing multiple alts but slowly leveling them with rested xp. It’s one way to avoid the ridiculous crowds once your main is 60.
You kinda did when you started to play on one of the two highest populated servers. You cant say you didnt know it would be extremely full before you started on it and it had 5-8 hours que at launch and days after?
I don’t mind high queues, having ques in the first place means there shouldn’t be too many players playing on one layer or world whatever, now its overpopulated and not fun to play for anyone.
Obviously not, every server is dead in bfa therefor they’re merged together with several servers, in classic its complete opposite having massive servers split into different layers, however blizzard is reducing the amount of layers with same amount of players than before making layers overpopulated, I’m not rerolling or changing to a dead server, it is blizzards problem to fix.
The fact people like you think every server you dont have to compete with 10 other chumps for a defias pillager is “dead server” makes it even better to read your complaints…
im doing perfectly well with the guild and friends on my realm. I’m not the one starting a Q_Q thread on the official forum that you struggle to quest on a full server.
Also, classic Gehennas attitude with “no friends” “you’re a retard” “have fun on your ded realm lul”
i dont think you are that old tho so i should probably leave you alone.
There was not that many servers to choose between when name reservation began.
I am not speaking for myself, as I just re-rolled. The ones I made that first day still sits around at leve 4 or thereabouts. I rerolled on another server. But as I’m only me, not in a guild, not with friends this was easy to me once new realms were opened. I feel your pain as all 3 Normal servers are like this - only minus the PvP aspect - which helps a bit, but only a bit. I still see more players than mobs on my screen
