Using zero mods means this is NOT a mod issue.
Mounting up in any zone in tirisguarde gives me an invisible mount. Does not matter in which zone.
Get quest from quest giver, return and my log claims i havent handed any quest in when i have. I have completed other quests, but the quest givers are nowhere to be seen as invisible which brings me to my initial point…invisible mount when mounted clearly has some kind of issue with invisible static npc’s.
I am not using any mods…therefore its a game problem and your problem…you need to fix whatever is causing this asap, before i cancel my sub and advise others to do the same. This is without any question of a doubt the worst expansion since cata

Having the same issue here across multiple leveling characters. Mounts do not show up, quest lag, and missing quest givers since patch 8.1.
I have performed all the standard steps. DNSFlush, power cycle, uireload, no dice.

Just experienced the exact same problems as nikki. Mounts don’t show up, can’t complete quests, quest givers not showing up or having the ? above their heads.

Having the exact same issue. Both in Stormsong Valley yesterday and Drustvar today.
I’m having this problem aswell plus lag spikes, that happen way too often. It’s really frustrating and annoying. I thought, that it’s my internet, but it’s not. Pre 8.1 everything worked just fine for me, no lag spikes etc. at all. But Post 8.1 and since Winter Veil event the game is unplayable. All of the continents, dungeons and raids are affected by this. Are they even aware, that there’s a problem? If so, how about fixing it? What do we pay sub for these days? For broken, bugged and unplayable lagging servers? It’s never been this bad in the past expansions.

Same issues, i noticed it happens a lot when phasing, for example i join a group fast for a world quest on the finder and phase into the leader’s server, and when i leave the group and phase back into my server, i get the “freeze” issues :
Invisible mounts.
Can’t get off the invisible mount.
Can’t generate class ressources while fighting but still doing damage with the spells.
It happened to me couple of times too when i joined my m+ group at the summoning stone and phased to their server, but not each time.
The chat keeps working tho, i can still tell my group i need to relog, which fixes the problem by the way, but doesn’t make it stop happening of course.
Can confirm this. It’s not just with mounts. Basically perform any action that modifies shape for any class. Some examples:
- Mounting
- Druid travel form
- Shaman Wolf form
All of these will not display appropriate shapeshift forms but will still increase travel speed.
And worst of all, when I try to perform any action when in these forms, I get an error, ‘You are mounted’.
Please fix this.
a simple relog fixes the issue for me
Same here tonight, on a 115 demon hunter in Nazmir. Relogging fixed quest issues but then suffered huge lag in combat for a while. Latency 24ms both.
All my mounts are gone in the list. I have 180+ mounts and i can only mount the 5 i have on action bar
Do not necro ancient threads which are not even related to your issue. Make a new thread for your issue, though in case I’d check that you haven’t unchecked any of the filters in the mount collections (eg. Collected and Sources).
