Plenty of Mobs you need to take down as a Group, you need Groups for Dungeons and Raids… numerous events you need a number of people to activate, etc. …

So no, aside questing this typically ain’t a Single Player game. That being said, there’s plenty of solo content too, such as Thorgast.

You should play the game

I have enjoyed my time in SL so far. I have to agree with you though… It does feel like a Single player game. I seem to be zoned in to my own instance most of the time. I do play with friends but apart from when that happens it is very empty.

Overall I have enjoyed it, but this is my one issue. I hope it ends once I hit max level.

Shadowlands leveling is as single player-oriented as BfA leveling was. Whether it is too little MMO or not during that phase is all up to you and what you do.

Indeed, the story is very you the ‘hero’ driven, other than that, still enough things you have to do in a group, like the theater of pain quest in maldraxxus while leveling

Story is single player. Game is not. Only your character will be addressed by quests and npcs but you will see other players and can help each other as nornal

there about 8 hours of really generic quests. kill click fetch escort there might be a story but i missed it my brain tends to filter out sheet.
