There are groups but often they are up for a long time waiting for a tank or a healer.
If you play one of those the experience isn’t as bad. But i know the DPS experience is dreadful and why i don’t play pure DPS classes.

game is definitly not dead. its just people dont do boring events like zalarek caverns

they hang out in new time rift where you got mounts and cool items
i blasted keys today many people joining i lead my own keys

i tank lfr on my alts and do random dungeons and wait time is lesser than i can smoke a cigarete

you probably just dont do enough random content to see retail wow is nice and well

Probably one of the biggest indicators that the population might be down right now for me is the fact that almost nothing gets sold on AH. I mean there are some things like flasks, pots and crafting mats that still see some traffic however fluff things like battle pets and trasmogs just stay in AH forever.

Raid groups can’t be completed unless it’s peak hour, otherwise you’ll wait for 15 minutes to replace somebody and then people will start leaving the group in mass.

People leave after 1-2 wipes, not because there are not enough people, on the contrary amount of invites is huge.

Old raid farming is dead too, 4-5 groups at most, basically Sanctum of Domination and Battle of Dazar’alor farming for mounts, with the ocasional Uldir 4fun.

retoilet has been dead for a while, losing million or so ppl every xpac. Dragonpiss was a last ditch attempt to try and get people back by giving them everything they wanted but when your game has no content outside of 1 hour of raiding per week its not gonna get revived

yes but those who aimed at ksm already got it, those who aimed at ksh already good it - now its mainly bad players desperately pushing and failing badly . most good players are either pushing very high or on break from game.

It’s exactly the same on Stormscale for me. I have never had issues finding dungeon groups or groups for any activity really. Time rift is always busy too.

The game is far from dead.
