Is this the best graphics card at this price point?

Hey guys,

I’m looking to upgrade my graphics card. I’m on a budget of £250 max, so I’m not looking for anything crazy here.

Having done some pretty extensive research, I think I’m gonna go for the 'Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC 6GB ’ the 3 fan edition.

Would you say this is the best card I can get for this sort of price?

Suggestions welcome!

(ps. I’m looking to buy brand new as going for a finance option. I know I can get some decent used cards but not this time!)

Got that card myself, it’s an absolute beast, can recommend it. Alternatively, if you can wait a while, see if the RTX2070 drops down to that price range

Used 2070 are already close to 250 GBP but likely there won’t be any massive price changes right now due to low stock of new things. Likely in December if they get more stock then old gen will be shoved to the discount channel… but still it’s worth looking at popular stores as there are low quantity sales from time to time already.
