I really want to play Priest, but the thought of having a goofy hand-drawn circle clipping through my character 24/7 somehow isn’t appealing.
I mean, seriously.

If you can afford 13€/month + 50€ expansions, you can afford getting a computer with better than integrated graphics.
I have an MX150 GPU. Anyone who knows anything about tech can tell you it’s on the lowest of the low end as far as GPUs go, and I’m still playing WoW at high graphic settings with 60 FPS.
If your computer struggles with WoW, you should honestly buy to the cheapest 300€ laptop you can find, it’ll probably be an upgrade to whatever you’re playing on right now.
I don’t like any of these barrier type effects. Mage has it too.

Yeah, I don’t like them either. They look like cheap 2D effects and they clip way too hard into the character model.

AMS is a cooldown at least, you only see it a few seconds every now and then.
PW:S is almost permanently surrounding your character.
the game has some 2004 stuff and it’s not a big deal. They updated Orgrimmar and it looks horrible (in my opinion). Too much spikes.
barrier is old but makes me feel safe having it on… until a Blood elf Demon Hunter comes out of no where and gank me.

I couldn’t care less about how it looks provided it would be ABSORB and not tool to put Atonement on people when PW: Radiance is on CD. Didn’t made a Discipline Priest to play a DPS with AoE leech healing function xd

In 2020 nobody plays WoW for being “pretty” because when i stack to 19 guildies inside a raid, the last thing i look is my PWS
If you want preetty animations and effects go try ESO that everything is so pretty and well made resulting the game to lagspike because of the amount of usless data transfered.
Lagging in 12man and 4 man content. Imagine 40ppl in cyrodiil is like 400MS
