About the lights, I’ve read that apparently lights outside have been abused during beta, therefore they’re still trying to figure out a way to add them without the risk of nuking everything up. As for mailboxes, I see there are a few in the database on wowhead, but it’s still not clear how to get them (or if they work like proper mailboxes!)

Even Once Human has mailbox on their plot, would recommend the devs to go play Once Human or even Valheim to see what housing should’ve been like in the beginning, not this placeholder stuff of cubes and boxes we have right now.

I have AH/mail mount. But I would like normal mail box on my house.

Because you can unlock a room with a skybox so you can create an outside area or view in your house.

Why do you want a mailbox in your house?
It’s totally pointless. You want the mailbox near the AH or workbench. That’s literally the #1 use for it.
Or you plan on taking a TP to the AH… buy some stuff… then take a TP back you your house to pick it up? Ridiculous.

One of the professions can build mailboxes, IIRC it was either blacksmithing or inscription. But I am not sure if it’s just a decorative item or if it has mail functionality. Will need to build one when I can log in and try it out

While i agree we want to avoid housing feature creep, before we break out the ol’ slippery slope, a mailbox just belongs with a house, it’s one of the first things people envision when thinking about a house.
