i know its an old expansion and bla bla, but wow. its unfathomable how overtuned this class is.
there is literally no way on earth id ever win 1v1 vs a dk as a warlock. i die in a couple of globals and they are perma immune to everything i do.

Remember Paladins in wotlk prepatch? Divine Storm in AV and 4 people around had their hp halved.

if i ever venture into grip range im actually just dead. ams immune all i do im perma 95% slowed also from range, but doesnt really matter im dead in globals.

styl at max level in 3.3.5 Arms warrior with pocket healer or RMP were more broken then DK
Aff by design is that way BUT in group play say with ele and healer is one of the best comps. As aff I need to have portal up 100% and preferably in a place melee can’t get to.
You are caster and they are anti-casters. You have low chances of winning anyway and specialy if you dont have any resi.
resilience has nothing to do with it. dks are just anti caster class. by time they rotate their defensives they’re back up. the whole time they are immune to everything :DDD.
u just cant win as a warlock 1v1 though without engineering or a massive range advantage that u cant find in a duel and very rarely in world pvp
wdym it has nothing to do with it, it straight reduces pvp damage, pvp crit chance, pvp crit damage, those 3 combined can be like 50-60% dmg reduction, if he has 0 resil ofc he’s gonna die, just wanted to ask about his gear
I have the exact same experience in the prepatch right now: nothing I can do against dks in 1v1 with my lvl 70 lock
Guess I’ll just join the zombie dk armies of OP fotmers and have fun at least being able to kill people.

Let’s just roll a DK man, forget it, what’s the point of suffering (i got a lock too). They’re going to be everywhere in pvp at 80 and us warlock are going to be pvp victims.
im not going to pvp at all at 80. i just did some avs to get brutal gear. wotlk pvp is super bad.
its hard counter for lock but it is winnable as destro at 80 in open world if you get your port down before fight and have favourable terrain.
I have won vs full brutal dk as affliction on the fresh server but vs dk with a brain that doesn’t waste ams/trinket I doubt its possible.
But just like it is honestly impossible for many classes to beat warlock, pala/boomkin is such a free win honestly for xample
DK just destroys warlock and shadow priest in 1v1 its just rock paper scissors. PvP isn;t balanced around duels. If you want to counter DK you can reroll sub rogue, feral or ret.
If it’s hard counter for locks and most melees in pvp are going to be death knights, I think I’ll just pve with my lock, and pvp with something else. It’s just not fun currently.

While still powerful, at level 80 it’s not the same as the crazyness of pre-patch.
