Currently on the beta JC gems are in their post 3.2 buffed state (as are all professions), however epic gems are not yet available and presumably won’t be until they were in original Wotlk. This means that until that point, the JC-only gems are out of line with the other profession bonuses, for example:
3 x Runed Dragon’s Eye = 60SP more than the blue quality gems
Ring Enchants = 46 SP
Alch flask bonus = 47 SP
LW wrist enchant bonus = 46 SP
etc.
Once epic gems come out, this JC bonus SP will be 48SP.
I’m not posting to argue whether this should or shouldn’t be changed, just hoping to get some clarification from Blizzard on whether the values of these JC gems will be remaining as they are currently on the beta, or whether they will be getting adjusted to be more in line with the other profession bonuses?
