Its currently pretty trash but give it 5 years to mature and it might be alright.
im only lvl 12 so far, so much stuff to grasb my head around, and i wont āācheatāā look at guides and stuff, this is a game without sub, i can take a break without feeling guilty that i got a active sub and so on, i can come back and out as i so wish.

Itās good you enjoy that and think it is a good game or atleast know it is for you, but shadowlands was a good game for the first 3 months for many aswell and you see where it was after that. Itās just the hype phase and when that is over you have to pray that the game itself even offers any endgame to have people stay and not dip in masses.

i joined pretty late into shadowlands, was it 5-6 months, u can see when i dinged. but yea so that good part i missed.
my main issue regarding wow as it is now, class balance, yes they are fixing alot of it in inc patch.
gearing in m+ regarding real pushing is not enough, meaning you cant really push keys if ur not geared from mythic raiding, and sadly thats not up to you but 19 other as well or more.
i had fun while i did push, but i reached the puglimits for my ilvl in both s1 and so far s2. s2 is stil going on so i will see what i do, but as of right now i just take a break until i might get more progress in raids. again sad to be held back in content you love due to other contentsā¦
in s1 i ended as nr 7 for my spec. and last time i checked i was nr 2 or 3, i havnt checked for days though.
I even did some arena, me and my friend, we both joined late and was facestomped in arena by max geared players even at pre 1000 rating. the experience of that made my friend quit, i think we reached 1600 or something like that, at best we were 200 ilvl vs 226++. not my or my friends kind of fun at all.
Amazon aināt gonna give it 5 years.
Anyways, dont forget to live here and now every once in a whileā¦ it has no sub fee, it only cost 40 euro or what ever. and it prly have atleast several months of content atm. that by itself is worth it in my eyes, something fresh. been a long time since i tried something new

Im willing to try it cauz I did enjoy my few days of open beta but the lack of sub does make me really question how their monetisation of the game would work out. Being an MMO and all, any possibility on a heavy reliance on cash shop or some marketing incentives based on FOMO (e.g. amazon prime sub rewards) would be a bit much for me.
Still on a balance though - especially given that I would rather avoid the current queues.
i guess im lucky, i do not care about any skins at all xDā¦ every time i see ppl on premium skins im just happy, that clown there makes it free for me monthlyā'. as long as its just cosmetic i dont care at all. i played even lol since beta! i think i spent 5 euro in 10 years!.. thats how much i care about skins.

Itās poorly optimised, Iāve got a 9900k and a 2080 super, Iād expect at least 60 fps but nope.
This is sadly the reason why I dont want to play it. No endgame and especially no questing. Which is sad cuz it looks amazing.
