How is it tuned fine when the dot to break the repentance on maiden is ticking for like 1/3 of peoples hp every tick? That’s just ridiculous. Getting better gear isn’t going to make it tick for less damage, maybe it’ll be 1/4 of peoples hp when fully geared but that’s still too much for something that you HAVE to do.
Like, no problems with breaking the shield but that dot was wrecking people because it was ticking for 1/3 of their hp. That’s 100k~ damage every other second, you can’t say this is “tuned fine” to have something that’s doing 50k dps to the group.
At that point you can argue that every RPG is pointless to play, be it single player or multiplayer. Which is why it’s pointless to argue the case of “why do content for gear when it’s going to be invalied in X amount of time anyways?”.
Tried A +10 kara yesterday - the high female boss casting rependant and then a shield to dps down before a wipe aoe felt overtuned and some of the mobs leading up to her felt overtuned aswell

After a wipe in lower kara there is a long run with no mount poss. For repairs
After 8th wipe we disbanded with red gear
well at the end of the day all procrastination is pointless really…
it is just a pass time to keep the mind active in a period where there is nothing to do.
no one “NEEDS” wow… but it fills that gap for people who cannot fill it with other things.
and as long as it makes them happy there is no problem with that either.
time could be spent learning a craft or a skill or a language for example.
but if people rather spend it in a game farming shinies, it is their choice to do so.
that is imo why they try make these games as addictive as possible , to keep people hooked as if they were not addictive no one would play them as they really do offer nothing other than a good time waste.
EDIT: i guess you can argue the social aspect of mmorpgs is a reason to play them…
and you would not be wrong either… but not everyone is social in mmorpgs and in general the game bracket as a whole attracts people who lack in the social department.
leads to a lot of toxic attitudes, arguments , bickering, backstabbing…
people say play with friends… which is fine… but try finding friends who want to even play this game with it’s reputation these days.
I have the impression, that they wanna make the ilvl rewards from M+ for a given difficulty more similar to what you get in raids for the same difficulty, and I think that’s perfect
JUST an FYI there is a skip you can do, so u don’t have to run ALL THE WAY BACK if you go down instead of the usual way and on your right, you take a right turn again, you’ll enter Moroes lair** you just have to fight a couple of packs, but it saves you like a min or two (also, those mobs are pretty easy to deal with)
So far from what ive tried. Junkyard is perfectly fine and actualy fun dungeon to run. Both tazavesh wings are fine.
Grimrail isnt hard except last boss deagon breath, that needs to be tuned down. Other than that…this dungeon is absolutely horrible for m+. Thank you, lfr morons that doesnt even play m+, for voting for this dungeon. I hope you enjoy your journey trough normals for cat.
Lower karazhan if ppl know what to do its easy. But compared to others its definetly harder.
Moroes dot needs to be tuned down…again.
Iron docks. Well this one…i feel like this one needs boss tuning hard. This one i feel like playing melee is horrible experience and its also overtuned.
Didnt try workshop or upper kara yet.
Also seasonal afix is kinda fine. Zhe power it gives is huge depending on your route. But i think it could ramp up faster. Also the stat change should be possible for the entire run or selectable even before you put the key inside. Because running the whole dungeon with versa feels horrible.
Some dungeons could use way more checkpoints. Including junkyard.

Upper kara on the other hand…omfg…Mediv needa like flat 30% nerf on everything…curator adds need like 20% hp nerf …trash is hard…this place is by far the biggest mess.
Then why is junkyard, workshop, tazavesh and iron docks so easy compared to karazhan?
Like, if people aren’t just shooting the iron stars in bad places in iron docks, it’s pretty much a free key, especially now after they removed quaking during the smash on the last boss.
The damage output in a +18 streets or gambit fades in comparison to the damage output in both of the karazhan dungeons at +15 or even +14. It’s ridiculous.
Workshop is gigafree atm. The tank debuff on the second boss isn’t working properly, it deals basically no damage, which would be an obstacle when not geared enough if it actually worked.
