Well I always took it as they where defeated not dead as If they die so 2 does Azeroth right or I’m I mis remembering lore 
I think they say something like old gods roots is really deep in azeroth and killing y’shaarj in pandaland scarred the area or something like that. N’zoths dead seems like didn’t effect anything tho or they lazy.
Visions within visions, pretty deep and sort of trippy. Would be really cool if we have been trolled! 
I can just hear the bleating and crying if that were the case.
A big fight in Stormwind and one in Ogrimmar would be a great change of pace. Something like we did for the start of Legion. You get a message and off you pop to your capital to take part in one great big fight to the death of the bad guys.
Siege engines, mages, airships, lots and lots and lots of cannon fodder, oh what a joy that would be. Assuming our aging PC’s could handle it.

I would not consider them that low, but definitely not the top tier.
Especially since they are adding a few very powerful characters recently.
If i were to make a scale i would do this at the moment.
Titans, void lords, and the jailer all seem to be a 10/10 in terms of power relative to wow, ofc some are more powerful than others, but these are the top tiers.
Old gods, i would put them at 9, but they are way less powerful.
Major demons like kil’ jaeden, i am not 100 % sure, but i think 8.5 is fair, same for queen Azshara.
etc…
I honestly did not like bfa storyline, i think it would have been way more compelling if void lords actually empowered the old gods for taking over Azeroth, using the whole Sargeras sword as an excuse.
Right now i just feel like, it’s a bit pretentious for n’zoth to be such a know it all… It’s actually a bit annoying at this point for me hearing him say things like, everything you do is for me or some bs like that, like dude, are you as strong as the burning legion? As strong as Argus etc…? No? GTFO.
At least if the void lords were aiding their minions powerscaling would be far more compelling, at least for me, that’s for certain.
I also think it was a mistake to bring back the whole faction war, they should have just focused on old gods, and Sylvanas could have done whatever she wanted anyway.
I hope so :(, still kinda ruins his reveal for the first time tho
Just like if we do get an argus xpac, its’ reveal is ruined,
Same as nyalotha as a whole, and same as bolvar
