Normally i dont write on these forums but this latest news got me very annoyed. What iam talking about is the free increase of the pet cap to 2000 coming up in 9.1. I recently saved up and bought the 2nd! pocket pet portal. The other one was in BFA. So i hope you can imagine that i didnt feel very happy with the news.
I opened up 2 tickets asking for a refund for the portal i bought about 2 weeks ago but got a resounding no each time, saying they cannot refund such items.
I feel i walked into a trap set up by blizzard, spending time and resources on something that now will be handed out freely.
Did this happen to someone else and how did it make you feel?
I have had mine for quite a while now, but I completely understand that if I had bought one last week I would be very annoyed.
But it’s the same problem that happens everywhere there is a price drop. In-game or real-world.
If they gave a refund to people who bought them last week, then they’d be pressured to give the refund to people who bought them two weeks ago, and three weeks ago, and …
There is always a cut-off point. The people who are just on the wrong side of it may be annoyed. But the annoyance does go away. You won’t get your refund, but you will earn lots more Charms in the future.
