Well to me paladin is just holy warrior. Light is the power he is using either by faith directly to light or conviction.
Blood elves are just stealing and channeling light. Zandalari are extremely religious society that lives in city filled with temples and shrines, so it makes absolute sense that they have their own holy warrior order.
So they make much more sense than mana junkies. But if you’re so keen on terminology - then thus is why they’re called prelates. They don’t have anything with holy light worship and this is what makes them imo more worthy than another copy paste.
Thus is why you have alliance options if you feel that is more fitting - I don’t want that trope, it’s not interesting to me enough and I swear I tried to level one multiple times.
Human, dwarf, goat, tauren and even belfie all of them are deleted.
But let’s just agree to disagree if paladin’s main trait is to actually worship the light instead of channeling it because of their religion.
If I wasn’t vegan and if I didn’t love animals, then I should perhaps understand this as an insult.
Oh chill prople commonly call them like that for convenience. Even mmo-champion named all draenei datamined files with “space goat” in the name.
Besides they’re playable for so many years and plenty of people cannot spell their name.
Drani
Dranei
Denai
Drenei
Dreanei
And so on
It’s like with people saying panda and not pandaren. That doesn’t mean I dislike pandas or goats. In fact I’d rather for draenei to have goat faces - it would make them cooler imo.
Edit: People call each other “troll” to insult each other but I don’t care. I love wow trolls and I do some trolling from time to time irl too.
Amg, I’ve been trying to get you to answer for this crime of calling me a goat for like 3 threads now. Finally.
Also, you can always refer to my species as “Overlords”, “Supreme Race”, “Masters of the cosmos” or “Cute”
Or space goat as they’re literally goats that came from space on the space ships. Fitting in my dictionary.
Fine, I’ll respect your opinion Almost-Elf

After spending quite some time around here, and reading lots of WoW lore…
What’s that? Consis…what? Is it some made up word? Like Mumbo-Jumbo?
Serious note:
Because it’s the class that fits the Tidesage concept most, thematically speaking. With Frost mage coming as close second.
Don’t overthink it. They are shaman due to gameplay restrictions, their lore is deeper than that.
Much like the Blood Knights, the Sunwalkers, the ‘Zandalins’, and a long etc.
Or more recently, the Maghar priests.
I’m all for Blizzard adding infinite and unique classes, but being realistic, balancing them would be an impossible task we can’t reasonably ask them to try.
As of now, I settle with aesthetic differences. You can always RP in a more inmersivr way.
Anything any other race does humans can do better, that’s why kul tiran shamans make perfect sense. I would support human demon hunters too, so I could get full squad, but the Illidan cult is too pathetic for any human to be part of so…
Are you Arctur’s long lost twin?
