Yeah, what the title says - you should not lose/gain MMR, because someone is playing the game on McDonald’s wifi.
This doesn’t happen often enough to be a problem worth considering.
ive seen it happen on 2.2 mmr , guy fake dcs and stands near pillar whole game in stealth and when game almost finishes he starts walking towards to “help” and i lose. plays perfectly against me, when with me he does it again. I call it BS. There has to be some exploit behind it
I don’t have exact numbers to pull in how many matches there are connection problems of course, but rating distribution issues are a serious problem in a rated match. You play rated for rating after all.
If you bought a WoW token on the store for example, there was an error where your payment gets processed but you didn’t get the token, you would probably want some kind of solution, you would not be satisfied with GM telling you ‘This doesn’t really happen often enough for me to do anything about it’, you’d be like ‘dude, where tf is my money’

Problem is there is no gms at all to monitor the issues like bugs, exploiting wintrading and we have to pay monthly sub, xpansions and yh. Kinda not fair for paying for service that dosent provide quality

If he is with you the first 2 rounds game notice the L and then you rush in Vs him and the Lobby close, you get -mmr
this right here proves people exploit fake dc, but in my case it was a rogue doing it. like i explained above
Nah, I’ve had dc’s from priest mind control bug and the like and were able to log back in immediately and the game continue. Even if he has some ancient hard drive and it take longer to load he should be able to log back in time.
Yeah, but how would the exploit work? Someone trying to boost somebody through Q sync? I’m not sure that would work reliably. Maybe for 2 healers or something, there is so few of them, that there is a big chance they end up in the same lobby if they have a comparable MMR, but probably not for DPS - there is a so many of them, you would probably not Q into your mate anyway…
EDIT: I agree with you that support is kinda lackluster for PVP side of things. We, in the PVP community, are not very “demanding” customers regarding the number of maps or bosses or whatever per expansion, but we do require frequent balancing and bugfixing. It’s kinda sad blizz takes forever to iterate on these things.
Wintrading or not it happens too often. Without exaggerating in about 1/3 games someone dc, lagg, keybinds, etc. And this is at 2.2.

knockbacks and roots and being rooted same time while using gate/charge/blink or good old mind control dc are all happening too, I cant remember last time I was dc’d for other than blizzards caused bugs. One is the some anti-cheat trying prevent ppl from using fly hacks I think, then you get dc when sham uses root totem on you and ww bounces you in air or something. Game has like million bugs causing dc

You might be on to something, I saw several games today where one healer always goes 6-0 and other either never finds it’s buttons through the game or its nameplate went grey right away. Like handful of shuffle where one healer just always 6-0 for Imo no good reason and the other is just doing nothing. I think they are trading healers in SS. Every dps just wait 30min to go get 0 points. Whole PvP has become so stupid waste of time now.
its not just healers its dps doing it too around from 2k to 2.2 mmr
imagine haveing so many bugs and blizz is like its fine
i think most ppl just dont talk about the dc issues i dct on my dh yd flying and went-150 nice i needed 1 cr for 1800 elitegear
