Why is The Dawnbreaker (the ship) so buggy? Why do “LORE” adds suddenly start attacking from very far away? Why does the mini-boss on the ship sometimes spawn late? What is going on with this dungeon?
Is there any information on whether this will be fixed at some point, or do we need to wait for Midnight to forget about this dung?
Because you got there early. Depends on where the ship is and how long you take to fly there after the 2nd boss.
It forms part of the RP.
Its a special dungeon. And needs special knowledge. Those 2 issues you mention are simply things to take in mind.
There are bugs that need to be fixed though. Its not OK that when big mounts like dragons touch the ropes of the zeppelin, the whole mount clips through. You should be able to fly any mount there. Not just small ones.
And for some reason after testing, some ground effects disappear. That should also be fixed.
The behavior is unpredictable. Every run they behave differently. Sometimes mobs spawn instantly and go down, so everything works fine. Other times you have to wait 5+ seconds for them to spawn. A mini-boss can even start his AoE before he’s fully spawned (he’s already channeling as he appears), and in that case it’s impossible to move him down because he chains casts.
I don’t believe it’s that difficult to have these mobs present from the start, or to start their RP when the key begins, to avoid those random issues. Also, make these “RP” hostile mobs untargetable. These mobs are the same as in the rest of the dungeon, but they give no %, so they already have additional configurations – meaning it should be possible to fix them or adjust their behavior.
I have seen the mini-boss sit on the stairs just casting. But i have also seen that eventually he runs out if casts and moves to melee range on his own.
I also know that tanks manage that pull in specific ways to try and have them both toguether. Im not sure exactly what, but they told me that they do.
But either way, its an optimization problem. You want them stacked to optimize dps. What key level are we talking about? Because DB timer is okish. Optimizing 20s of the dungeon wont make a big difference…
I also find this weird. They could make them into yellow mobs atleast… Not hostile ones.
If some of the RP does not finish in time and you kill to fast stuff can bug out, just stop doing low keys if it keeps on bugging, you to good for the key go do higher keys.
