Loosing interest

Been enjoying rogue throughout BFA, Subtlety, Assassination and outlaw. With one being great for certain encounters. Assassination is brilliant at single target fights, Outlaw is brilliant at mobs & Subtlety is… well it isn’t anything thing. its lost its soul. It was brilliant at bursting priority targets with shuriken combo ,but since its removal I have only ever seen PvP players using this spec.
Would it be possible for Subtlety to have a rework so it can once again have its own soul, reason to play, a situational use.

My personal opinion is to give subtility a truly unique flavor by giving it a single 2h weapon and crazy levels of single target dps.

Given that it has a complicated rotation it shouldn’t be much to ask for.

So far 8.2 won’t have any changes for rogues saddly, and I don’t think they will. Subtlety is almost dead even in PvP, and the one who plays Subtlety only play it because they got bored of the other two specs, not because it’s a viable spec.
I don’t think Blizzard really care about rogues anywehre even in Hearthstone.

Rogue is in a rough and boring spot. I think genuine compared to any other expansion when I go to do casual / non-rated PVP from w-pvp to well anything I don’t even consider logging my rogue because well, its simply not living up to the name or the class fantasy.

Sub does most single target BURST of all 3 specs. If you are out of trinket you got a little chance vs other specs. But you got NONE vs good Sub.
For PvE I mannaged to pull dps on single targets on Par with Assassination rogues with specialised builds. Got a lot of respect from our guilds Assassination and Outlaw rogues and a lot of questions lol.
At AOE i can never get close to them. But in single target boss fights i am breathing on their necks.
Not to mention that healer doesnt have to even look at me most od the times. Since I am more under Shadow Dance than not lol.
