Mac client crashing on load after Jan 19th update

Hello,

As soon as I launch the game it completely hangs my machine, requiring a restart.

Sometimes it gets as far as rendering the log-in screen, usually it hangs on a grey screen. It always hangs as soon as I launch the client either via Battle.net or directly. It seems to be some kind of graphics issue.

I haven’t had any issues previously. I have tried a fresh install, as well as deleting the WTF/Interface folders.

The machine is a 2019 MBP 16" AMD 5500M.

I’d appreciate any assistance.

EDIT: I’m having this issue with the TBC client.
EDIT2: Allowing the machine to reopen apps that crashed gives this error:

CommandLine Parse Error: psn_0_53261(0): Invalid argument: psn_0_53261

Same here with Burning Crusade Classic.
Patch is officially dated January 18th, though
