Hey !
Never played with game sound and I have the freezes :frowning:

what a joke! so far behind its soon not even going to be worth continuing even with a fix! Cheap blizzard, hiring cheap staff, for a cheap job… This is what happens…

What do you mean?
You just moved wow folder to the external hard drive and now it works?

Well, i already had wow on my external harddrive because i wanted to delete it from my mac so i have more space but i was to lazy. So i just had to do the update and install all my addons and then i went online did a wq with a lot of people and no freezing. Then i did a battleground and still no freezing. I don‘t know why but it works

To be honest with you all, my biggest fear coming out of all of this is that they’re going to turn around and say that wow is no longer playable on a Mac and the only solution is to buy a pc.

Never give up!
It will be fine soon

Definitely getting worse. I tried to do Uldum and Vale dailies yesterday. I averaged a freeze every 3 minutes, and each freeze lasted on average 4 minutes… It’s insane. I was questing with my boyfriend who managed to heal and keep me alive during the freezes, but it’s a million miles from a fun playing experience.

This is ridiculous. I just unsubbed and not coming back until it’s fixed because it’s not fun to have several minute freezes all the time.

I just contacted the live chat support and the guy assured me they were working to solve the problem. Lets cross the fingers and hope my friends…!

Edit: Also the guy literally said : " you guys are a huge mac community and we’re not gonna let you down".

Mind sharing with the community what you did? (please be specific) Every possible alternative solution is -at least for the last 2 weeks- more then what we get from Blizzard…

I’ve just read that a few people on the US forums have tried playing off an external hard drive, it worked for a while and then it just started crashing again.

Thanks for the reply… if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is

If u wanna play on Mac there is a rumour that Apple is working on a gaming machine…!!

According to the rumour this machine is gonna cost around $5K :joy:

Man must be a beast to cost that much

I connected my external hard drive with my macbook. I already had wow on my hard drive so i just had to do the update. I opened wow on my hard drive logged in an played. So far i had no problems with world bosses from wq and pvp but i am gonna test it in an hour to be sure

I have tried external drive connects with my mac and played in Dungeons (BFA and WoD), It still had a long screen crashed time once of each run. It only happened once in each dungeon.

Im also playing from a external hard drive, mine is still freezing, crashing etc. Please fix this ASAP blizzard, this is starting to become a joke …
