So the problem is in the title. Just watching some youtube guides from 11.2 found out that hp of bosses there now are just x2 (180k and 371k, old and new respectively; at least for tanks challenge) and hits are much stronger while a char’s stats are the same.
Is there a way around maybe? Or just forget about it and wait for fixes in the distant future?

After 100 pulls on the tank challenge as guardian druid I also noticed this. They made the fight 3 times harder by doubling the hp, nerfing gear and increasing the dmg of the mobs.
Variss from 198K > 361K
Eye from 1,7K > 3K
Horrors from 5,3K > 9K
Infernals from 268K > 400K
Don’t know the HP difference for Gruul cause I only saw him 2 times and got 1 shotted by annihilate with full hp and defensive cd’s up.
In all my pulls, I also noticed some weird behavior on the eye knockback ability. Many times I faced the eye’s I got knocked back, and many times I didn’t face the eyes, I didn’t get knocked back, so it feels super random. Another thing on the knockbacks from either the eye or the infernals is that half the time I was able to charge back while being knocked back, and half the time I couldn’t charge back while 100% being in range of a mob.
It feels unfair. I was able to complete most of the challenges this week (luckily, I already had the tank), but the ones for healers? The eyes in the second phase do more damage than I have health…
First phase no problem, second phase failed after endless attempts.
Edit: After 30 attempts, my characters are finally flying with a book. The last phase is completely under-scaled again.
This needs to be fixed urgently!
To be honest I don’t think they’ll fix it before Midnight. But you can still beat all the challenges thanks to few items. What you basically need are the following;
Darkmoon Deck: Symbiosis
Darkmoon Deck: Radiance
Darkmoon Sigil: Symbiosis (Rank 3) on any blue crafted weapon
Writhing armor Banding (Rank 3) on any blue crafted armor
Cloaks and Wrists enchanted with Leech.
This setup boosts you significantly and grants you a lot of versatility.
