Get back in your pathetic Mop box you heathen.
No thanks.
Oh wow i never thought of that! thanks man!
Well your Main argument is that people don’t pull their weight and that you hate losing against them.
your solution, gdkp, is really unpopular with a part of the game community because it influences how others play the game (gdkp’s becoming the main and almost only pug variant) . I don’t want to go into the RMT component because neither has the true numbers.
the game encourages having good relations with people and those can be established in a guild. This would alleviate your issues.
Considering you play the game rather intensely I doubt you don’t have the time for a guild.
gdkp being the only option isnt really true, ive raided on era all of 2023 and most of 2024 and there was still atleast 1 naxx SR pug. Which is not bad for the relatively small era community. but its still a fact that people who dont perform well and people who do their absolute best during a raid get the same treatment during a SR pug. Its not about relations or anything, i can love the person behind the screen but still be upset that they got all their bis items just because LMAO 100 roll on my bis item whooo i love gambling ontop of my drop rng.
IDK if you’re trolling, but the reality is 100% the opposite.
Without GDKPs and thousands of bots, there are no good ways for normal players to make any gold. They can’t buy consumes to participate in raids without swiping.
With GDKPs everyone gets their cut, and they can save up for next weeks consumes + bid whatever they can afford. Sure the swipers get their items first, but so what. At some point it balances out.
The more expensive the items are, the bigger the cut from a GDKP is
So it doesnt matter if a Binding costs 100g or 10000g, you get the same percentage cut and therefore the same relative buying power
Without GDKPs and thousands of bots, there are no good ways for normal players to make any gold.
This implies the only way to make gold is by getting it through others buying gold for GDKPs
no thanks.
everyone in this forums things that his way of playing the game matches others. So please just stop talking none cares about your opinion and especially Blizzard. go get a life and just play what they give you. You have zero power over any decision that is made. Our only ‘community building’ opportunity is the Classic + and thats a longshot
Quite the contrary. If you think for a few seconds how economy works in real life. Think of a couple of jobs that can be automated. Now they all have quite low salaries, right?
Now think of an economy where you can automate pretty much everything, except raiding. Now everything becomes quite unfeasible for humans to compete against the bot in, right?
offtopic: BTW you seem to be in almost every single topic in this forum. And it seems like you just pick random comments and try to make opposing arguments against them, no matter how bad those arguments are.
I strongly encourage you to do something else with your time. As you might get small dopamine hits when you succesfully ragebait somebody, but in the long run that is not healthy.
I also encourage you to open up your own profile. Read a handful of your comments in a row. You seem psychotic because there is no consistency in your “opinions” even between your own posts. I’m not trying to be mean at all, but you should seek professional help.
edit: One can also quite easily notice patterns in your commenting frequency. You seem to get these 1~2 week manic episodes, in which you vomit out 10~20 rage bait comments every day, and then go quiet for a month or so. If this is for example related to some medication, please mention this to the healthcare professional.
i fail to see where automation plays into this. you say
Without GDKPs and thousands of bots, there are no good ways for normal players to make any gold.
Which effectively would just raise the demand for gold, which you claim to be only feasible for bots, but this would just create inflation which pushes up consumables yet again.
Most of the things i respond to lack arguments, you have provided none, you just provide some weird thoughts you have. I have been banned from these forums many times, that explains the comment history. Thanks for your psychological input though, you seem more knowledgable there than in the game.
If they delete the entire economy and you only can pay for your gold that you farmed yourself sure.. The entire point is to kill the gold sellers mate, you are the ones who makes the sellers go around.
And how is this war with gold sellers going?
Assuming you would get in as a pumper and get the cut. If you aren’t in already through Discord and other shady RMT, the less likely is you would get in if the rules were loosened ![]()
To some extent, the gold would spread, but for quite a while, it would just increase RMTs as there would be a big buyers’ market outright.
In the old days, all sweaty guilds and ultra-sweaty private servers guilds recruited as many casuals as possible. Then, around AQ40 onwards, the economy moved more towards barter than gold. All the casuals running with BWL or AQ gear with time, even when not raiding, just fishing or picking herbs.
I still remember orders for rumsey black label (spawn points enabled 24h before AQ opening) or coop fishing with an Alliance gnome - he was hard on firefin, while I was taking oilies and eels (and then guild raid had FAPs for Naxx and some flask junk for the tanks).
thats all cool and dandy to have those old stories of being a casual getting used by a hardcore guild, but the overall playerbase changed and people play different. Only because you saw clips/videos of people swiping in the notorious gdkps, that doesnt mean that this is the norm. People still swipe and people still buy loot. They just do it somewhere else. GDKP was just THE way for people to play the game how they enjoy it the most (raiding) and get gold for to spend it on gear and or consumes.
That’s not have to be a thing. For people doing dire mistakes, it’s often -1SR.
