The class is called “Hunter”, not “Archer” or “Gunman”
No one is forcing you to play melee
Most people like the option to be able to play melee

Does top 3 damage = complains.
Does top damage by a wide margin = complains.
I do wonder what it will take to make hunters happy, if it’s at all possible.
The only problem is it’s a 2 buttons spam spec, other than that, it’s fine.

It actually forces you to play melee hunter in pve, since all the others are bad, and melee hunter is busted af.

I play survival trap hunter and with 1.8 bow and lone wolf, and I’m telling you now. It’s like playing retail.
Keeping up a rotation of the below for damage.
Immo or explosive trap
Multi shot
Explosive shot or chimera shot
Arcane shot
Serpent sting
Auto shots
Raptor strikes
Reactive
Mongoose Bite
Counter Attack
Wing Clips
For utility
Wyvern sting
Ice / frost trap
Feign death resets
Aspect swapping
It’s engaging as hell and I love it.

if you use 90% of those spells while being in melee hunter spec you will be bad.

I don’t play Sur Hunter on retail Dead spec and will not even be here.
Maybe is thing Mele Hunter on 40 lv but sure will not be on 60.

Jumping while attacking brings more dps!
