More visage races for dracthyr

Alright. Lets place some rules. Just use common sense and behave.

Now to the topic.

So why are we not getting new visages for the dracthyr? Is it because of the work, which I would call BS because we already have eyes for vulps and tauren and all elves. Dwarves even. Not a hard task to add the visage features the basic two already have to other races.

Just time consuming. Lore? Pffft. Please. In lore dragons can take any visage they please depending on their need at the given moment. Dracthyr being half dragons and being told their visage mirrors their own desires, at least that is what Wrathion basically says to the evokers in SW. And given that dracthyr are also half “mortals” meaning their genetic code is also based on the mortal races that roamed 20k years ago already, which means human and high elf forms make least sense to be their first visage choices. Trolls, vulps and highborne would make more sense.

And the latest quest line that focused around Scalecommander Emberthal even says that the visage can be anything you want.

So. I want my evokers to be vulps in their visages. Why can’t I have that? The twentieth anniversary would be perfect spot among the new classes dracthyr will get to add new visages as well. And those saying it would be unfair towards those paying money for race change, keep in mind that the visage does not come with racials. So my dracthyr with vulpera visage could not make a camp anywhere she wants. She would still be bound to HS to an inn.

And those thinking of toys we got in-game that change your race appearance. Cooldowns. And the fact that you can’t decide what you get which is the point of the visage. The fact of looking like you want.

So yeah. Why Blizzard? Why we can’t have more visage race options? I doubt it would be that hard to take the visage customisation from the current ones and slap them on the other races.

And to be fair. Some races need more focus on so why not give the dracthyr a vulpera visage for starters at the moment and see how well it plays and is adopted by players as concept. You have PTR servers for that exact thing after all.

And for the players. Got any reason in mind why we do not have more visages yet and please give us all your reasonings for your answers. Do not give some halfassed “just because” answers. Lets make this a real and civilized conversation about this small dirt on dracthyr / draconic beings lore.

They probably have other things on their priority list at the moment.

This something, which has been talked about since the race was added into the game. So it’s not a new topic in any sense. I’ve playing around with the Evoker in remix and it was fun. I would have loved to have picked a different race, just to fit my personal enjoyment of the character, even more. However, it never stopped me from just playing the class.

I highly expect they’ll do something in the future. Especially with them adding the new classes that can now be used by the Dracthyr.

I shall separate. Thanks. Also yes. Not a new topic but I would say it is quite relevant at the moment due to the new classes given for the dracthyr. But yes. I too have not stopped playing evoker just because I am bound to just two races that are gender bound. I just wish for more.

I’d say no to this, but not yet. I wanna see how the new classes are. Meaning, if people will use the dragon-goose form or the other. My bet is on the latter. So if that’s gonna be the main trend then focus on that, don’t spread it around to other races. That way you are more likely to see more customization options focused on the humanoid form.

I’d love a little gnome-voker. Leave me alone, it’d be adorable AF just like a gnome druid would be. Plus it would be easy to implement since they’re human too just sized down and squished.
