Most hated expansion by far

Games were a lot shorter in S1. Especially because not every team you met had a rdrood in it. Plus tank trinkets werent as popular and hp pools were lower with not nerfed azerith traits.

Lol R druid was top healer for 1/3 of the season + remember that mana regen was 50% better. Please watch some vods from S1.

The mana nerf should have in theory made games shorter but rdroods can just stealth drink / palas still dont go oom and you dont face discs anymore. Combining this with tank trinkets always ends in high damp games. S1 was a lot more enjoyable and the games were shorter. Unless you played some hybrid comb that doesnt really count as its meant to damp.

S1 was mostly okay, they just needed to buff stuff like dk, rdruid and affliction warlock a bit and not wait an entire patch

Sub Rogues too. They deserve some love.

Do ur self a favor and abandon rated pvp… did this my self 6 or 8 years ago. they do not care about pvp its not a priority for them.

I think what you should all mostly do is go outside and socialise with real people and do meaningful activities as your main pastime as opposed to getting so stressed and demoralised over a video game.

After a while I returned to wow for BFA and I am amazed from the state of the game, I dont even know where to start!!

You play rsham and your viable tactic is to run around as ghost wolf…This IS your tactic when trained and the whole point is to pick the proper GCD to shift out, cast a spell and go back to wolf before you get stunned.

Shimmer imho is a really bad way to boost mages. Instead of the iconic blink from stuns, now they are rewarded for not fake casting. Instead they have to blink mid cast

Locks are a total powerhouse turret. How can they have mortal strike effect, stun, coil, fear, roots, slow and such dmg that you can’t ignore. You try to run, but nooo…you need CDs to run.

Elementals with lasso…At least that is an interesting talent, but it feels not much skill is involved. Again run around as ghost wolf, wait for lasso/stormkeeper and burst.

I played rogue for the first time in years and i was BLOWN by how much dumbed down assassin is! This class used to be AMAZINGLY skillful, I had watched endless videos with amazingly timed vanishes and duels it feels so simple…

Warrior is a joke! No stance dancing, press 3 buttons and profit

I could go on for many classes, it is a shame and azerite traits seemed a really bad addition to be honest.
Pvp balaning is terrible ! No hotfixes for ages like everything is balanced.
And the worst of all, is that you see the state of the game, no one dies without dampening, skill doesnt even matter and what do you do? You add maledict and PVE gear with super heals!!!
How can those people not get fired? I mean on your job, if you totally, miserably fail, there are consequences!

People want fast paced games, no pve gear in arenas, or at least no advantage of it. People want some continuous balance shifting with small (or large when needed) changes so that melees or casters dont dominate the meta and no class stays on top for too long.
JUST DO IT and fire whoever is ruining this game

Slow?
Also btw without cooldowns, Chaos Bolt does max 40k dmg. Ret can do 100k+ Judgement. You can interrupt Chaos Bolt.
You generally don’t need CDs to run. Just run behind pillar.
And root, MS…? No Lock is going to pick it. You need 75% dmg buff for Chaos Bolt to make it over 20k dmg with Chaos Bolt PvP talent. Then you need either Demon Armor or Reflect. Or both.

And somehow you don’t mention real issues in arenas like Druids, WWs, DKs, DHs… which are T1 classes with little effort with T1 comps and autowin against Lock comps.

Comparing damage or ranged spec and meele spec with lowest uptime - how convenient.

Note that he said “I could go on for many classes” meaning he’s not done but that we should get his point with the couple examples he listed. The point was the game has a real issur in PvP. Warlocks, amongst others (the ones you listed acutally), are the most annoying issues right now but overall it’s the whole class design that is wrong. That was the message conveyed.

Learn to read EVERYTHING, not just the two sentences around the word “warlock” and answer accordingly instead of going tunnel vision “omagad he said warlocks brokem imma make him pay how dares he”. Again, he said he could go on with many other classes. The goal wasn’t to list what’s wrong exhaustively but to make a point. You should be aware by now that you’re part of the reason why there’s so much hate towards destro on these forums. The class is objectively not fine but that’s okay it happened before, with many classes, no need to make a fuss about it bigger than what’s up with WW, UH or Havoc, but everytime someone mentions pvp and warlocks, and sometimes not even warlocks, you HAVE to hop in and spit nonsense, bash people who downtalked a class for being broken in the current game, and sound like an unreasonable and immature fool who can’t even take step back and look at the bigger picture because for once in his life he can dominate the ladder through the power of the class.

I don’t expect you to react well to this at all, I’ll just add that it might not be how you really are but that’s how you appear on these forums and I would dare say others might agree.

I don’t know what she thought but you still showcased the reasoning abilities of a snail. You must be good in sociology or philosophy, your talent to expand for entire word pages while coming from a blatant reasoning mistake is so typical from any of those fields.

He actually did talk about the issue. He mentioned the lack of hotfixes when the game feels terribly bad, the lack of evolution he mentionned the lack of spells overall, he mentioned how dumbed down classes are, he mentionned how easy it is to get results with some classes because they are insanely good at everything, he mentionned the impact of PvE gear that plagues PvP these days, he mentionned the not so well designed azerite system, also the fact that some classes are so durable that it is impossible to kill before dampening (because outplays are themselves outplayed by a mere trinket or gloves or whatever).

What else is there for you to mention that isn’t very specific to something ? The point was the overall state of PvP, ruined and far from its original state, because of the above mentioned facts. I don’t believe you didn’t get that right.

Hello dear Destro fan club member. Hope you’re doing well, thanks a lot for your constructive message, keep showing the world how great of a club you represent.

I wouldnt believe anyone saying you’re more than 14 years old. From your char name and profile to your posts it’s a blatant painting of the pain a young lady must feel when she starts to turn into a woman down there.

Holy crap

Well boy, think what you will !

Your posts were really helpful to the thread today I’m proud of you.

Not really as you can deal damage from 30 yd or even more as I don’t play warlock since Legion - can’t remember. If pala gets bursted and is forced to los he is not dealing any damage besides judgement and btw I haven’t seen 100 k judgement ever.

Oh and leave WW2 alone. It’s MMORPG game forum not a history forum. WW2 is very delicate topic. Plenty of people from my country died in death camps so I’d love to avoid getting offended by your lack of knowledge or “accurate” metaphors.

Non-argument.

If you fail at logic, I need to use extreme examples to show why your way of thinking is bad.
It’s called argumentum ad absurdum.
If you’re getting offended by this, I don’t care. I am offended by your existence, yet I don’t demand you to stop existing.

There isn’t really huge difference between 30 yard and 40 yards to justify one ability being 250% more damage and instant while other is hard casted on immobile class.
And literally immobile, not the fancy paladin’s immobile, where they cry they’re immobile, but then rotate through 2 their decent mobility cooldowns to connect and HoJ.

For a Judgment to hit that hard you need to play a specific talent that requires you to gain stacks of some sort, ans Judgment consumes them. So, in order to reach a 100k you need :

  • a talent slot
  • full stacks of said spell
  • burst cooldown activated, 2min CD
  • stop using Judgment altogether except on those procs because if you do you lose the stacks so you don’t get that big damage thing, so you lose the benefit of the spell for the fight
  • you need to crit. It might seem normal to you Chaos Bolt caster but for the rest of the world it’s usually a 1/4 chance

And you compare it to your 40k cb without cooldowns or restriction ? Aside from the talent that increases its damage ?

WELL… Of course an ablity useable every now and then only and requiring wings to deal 100k IF IT CRITS and thzt required you abandoning the use of one of your core spells will feel more rewarding in damage than 40k near spammable stuff without cooldowns. Sounds totally normal.

I could have agreed if you had chosen Verdict as an example but really, the Judgment gimmicky fun build ? -_-
