Most hated expansion by far

The thread derailed completely.

Most of the warlocks you hate so much would be happy to return to affliction, but that spect is in ruins, in fact all 3 specs are very shallow one-trick ponies now.

You better look at what double melee with PvE gear do. They completely cannibalized all other comps: RMP, WLD, RLS, PHP, MoonkinLS - nothing is viable. You need to stack chaos bolts with greater pyros to see the hp move.

it’s sad how the community goes into every expansion expecting it to be awful but having hope that blizzard have learnt from their countless and endless mistakes, only to be let down again and again.
It’s like an abusive relationship that we just can’t quite walk away from due to remembering the good times we used to have and the hope that they’ll return

They won’t learn as they don’t understand they make them. Nerfing BoD trinkets to release even more broken PvE items from CoS. This is madness.

Then they claim that PvP community is toxic because we are contantly unhappy. All these excuses that they want everyone happy when the truth is that we don’t want any PvE interruption and PvE players don’t want to grind PvP (not all of them).

I don’t care about WQ - if they get removed I wouldn’t even realize. I don’t care about grinding neck - I hate this actually that I have to farm boring quests just to unlock things like gear isn’t enough progression already.

I don’t care about Mechagon, Nazjatar activities etc. I’ll be probably forced to take part in some of them. All I want is interesting class/spec design/some depth/skill cap/niche in specs that we lack.

Fury Warrior? What this spec offers? Stupid mobility, selfhealing and damage. 4 button damage bot. Tell me it’s well designed spec. Arms isn’t trully better. Havoc? Same rotation for single and aoe damage…

I remember old Warrior - it was amazing high skill cap spec with multiple ways of outplaying an enemy. You could intervene stuns/blinds, eat traps with it, reflect CC but there was also a counter play against you. Disarming Bladestorm. Disarm didn’t allow to use Shield Wall or Shield Block. You could use any weak instant spells to eat spell reflections.

Shaman had multiple enhancements to combine them with Unleashed Elements. So you had decision making aspect. Enh had long cds on damage spells but thanks to this it allowed for hit -> kite -> hit playstyle.

Mana management - old Innervate, Devine Plea, Hymn of Hope, Mana Tea, Mana Tide Totem. Why we lost all of these things.

3 PvP talents where 1-2 of them are mandatory for most of the specs.

Interface lacks any information about DR. Newbies have no clue about them.
Even though all players don’t use keyboard turning it’s still a default keyboard setting.

There is no interface option for mousover unless you know macros so players can’t learn to heal in dungeons or bgs unless they read guides.

No class quests teaching how to use utility spells so casuals don’t even bind spells that don’t do damage.

Is it that hard to think about any solution for adding depth to the game again? Also when I read that they won’t add 4th spec to some classes because it will be harder to learn how to play this game. Come on… To be very good at spec you just need to play it and learning basics of spec takes literally 1 day of googling, searching youtube.

I can compare WoW to a burger from McDonalds. It looks good in advertisments, producers say it’s amazing but it’s just cheap (except WoW isn’t) bad quality thing that works on hype.

I don’t specifically hate warlocks. I find heavy melee cleaves with PvE items just as stupid as destro/othert1caster with PvE trinkets and as it is the fact that those two combinations work as they do now make the game absolutely non enjoyable, dull, and bad.

What I hate is players defending obviously broken things and as it is we dont have a uh or havoc hero doing it here but we got couple destro guys ready to give their lives to bash everyone saying destro is part of the problem. They happened to pollute a lot of threat with useless (and wrong) comments about destro being totally fine BECAUSE they lost to UH which is caster counter and overtuned itself. This is what I don’t like. Inability to take a step back and look at the problem as a whole instead of just saying ok this class beats me so Inm fine pls don’t change and thus making comments and posts lacking sense is … Not a good trait to have.

For example you appear to me as a Warlock, but you seem like a person who can use the brain, I won’t hate because warlock.

They actually managed to make the game worse.

I also find it sad that every expansion the game is filled with such amount of negativity due to how bad the game gets.

The game wouldn’t be this bad if we had proper class designers. I quit the game when they made windwalker unfun. And still is compared how it use to be. I will be checking the game from time to time with gold but that’s about it.

Blizzard also needs to stop behaving as if they are a small indie company and can blame the publisher for their bad class design team.

i am unsure if what we’re seeing here is the result of blizzard/activision trying to implement one of those “wilson lootboxes” models…ok…maybe not directly pay to win, but as in cutting down all developement costs of the game, pushing the easy-to-make, low quality “hey, you can grind for new races and mounts” content in new patches, cashing in on nostalgia/returning subs and microtransactions and from expansion to expansion we go.
and in the end making more profit/stock value than actually making a good game. short term it is probably a good idea and could inflate their profits and value, but long term its running the game into the ground.

doing a thing like this to your customers in a monthly subscription game is simply beyond salvaging. there is something really really relly wrong going on here at the moment with this game developement/business models, and i think at this point its beyond repair.

This is what the PvP problems comes down to.

Blizzard will close their doors. So many from their staff left the sinking ship. They are not able to provide any pvp changes.

Maybe we should sell our accounts before the whole game isnt worth anything.

they aint closing sh!t…they are making even more profit…they are just moving from the model of being the quality gaming leader and innovator to cheap pay to win lootbox casino model every freakin cheap mobile developer does…sad…all that work and experience they built up trough the decades getting demolished cuz of few extra bucks to keep the shareholders happy…and long term it will go down, yes…just not that soon

Do you have proof ? For what i see/saw they never exactly announced how much revenue they make of WoW.

They also switched from “Active Abos” to “Active Game time played” or what ever they call it and stopped reporting Sub numbers after the abysmal WoD.

You feel the participation go down the drain.
