Mythic 0 content

For my friends and me, our end content was always Mythic 0 in PVE. We did them weekly until our team got fully geared up from those. It was enjoyable and gave us awesome memories.

Well, in Season ****** 4 Blizzard managed to increase the difficulty so much that our whole 5man team will leave the game for good. One mistake = death or even wipe.
We understand the keystone range squish between 1-10 but this should not affect “normal” mythic dungeons.

People should be able to make mistakes… we are humans and this is a ***** videogame.
We can not comprehend who was bothered that some casual players had some content that reminded them of the good old days in BC, WoTLK. The previous mythic 0 dungeons were on that level in difficulty.

We are deeply disappointed but I guess we are not welcome here anymore.

Go play classic if that is what you want… I dont know what is the issue here.

THe previous M0 == heroic now. Dont let the name fool you.

Bliz bumped heroics up to what M0s were so the level you want to play at hasn’t gone anywhere.

Also m0s are far from a single mistake causes a wipe, especially at your ilvl. Unless by mistake you mean outright ignoring a core boss mechanic.

I was wondering if the OP and friends were desperately undergeared, but no.

Do you know what the difficulty increase is between M0 and +2 now? I had a failed +2 yesterday because the 2 dps (3rd was augvoker) couldn’t stay alive on bosses and the aug finally started the leaving process.

I really don’t like this squish. the gap between heroics and M0/+2 is way too big. Heroics are facerolled in 450 ilvl and litterally nobody takes a 478ilvl dps with no rio for a 0/+2.

Current heroic dungeons are what M0 was before. Just do them instead?

Except they miss like half of the meaningfull mechanics because it is heroic instead of mythic, but indeed.

If you’re 478 ilvl then you just need to make your own group. Do some world quests for gold or watch some Youtube/Netflix while you wait for tanks/healers. Don’t invite dps before you have a tank/healer because a lot of the times a premade group will join.

Well apparently those “meaningful mechanics” are a problem for them.

Normally I would agree with that lower key level scaling is bad.

But OP deliberately said that they want “content that reminded them of good old days in BC and WotlK”.

So heroic is appropriate for them in this case.

Yeah ofc you’re right, but still, I feel like the old low keys bracket made progression more linear and I had few problems to find groups with a fresh dps to do some keys and learn the class.
You obviously can’t train a new class in heroics. So with dps you can’t find groups and with healers/tank you’re absolutely not comfortable because the gap is big and any mistake will kill you or someone at that level of gear.
I can’t even imagine for unexperienced players.
Heroics should be harder and reward better gear but I don’t think it’s possible.

Simple mistake on bosses wont always kill you, but if they do then its a pure l2p issue and you need to pay more attention to simple mechanics. Most bosses have 3 mechanics if that. Most of which is move out of a circle or interupt. If you can’t handle that then thats a you problem not a blizz problem.
