It looks very bad, need bit more lighter colors and option that we can organize width and hight of nameplate how we wont or ta least to have options who can do this separately. Also names inside of nameplate looks very bad. Also when we switch targets it need to be more highlighted target then rest of enemy party, now that difference is almost insignificant.

I agree. Since the pre-patch I’ve had a lot of trouble reading text on nameplates, both the mob’s name and the name of the casted spell. It’s too small, blurry and too close to the bars. There should be a text size option, not just a general scale for the whole nameplate.
An option to choose the default colors (like we have for the default raid frames’ health bars) would be nice as well.
An addon could probably do all of that. I wasn’t using an addon before, but now I think I’m going to get one. The old nameplates looked archaic, but were functional. They updated the nameplates supposedly so we don’t need a nameplate addon. The irony…
