Need help with graphics card issues - Shadowlands

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
GPU1 : AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics (Integrated)
GPU2 : Radeon RX 560X

Hi all,

Recently I’ve been having a lot of issues with drivers since Shadowlands came out and usually when a new xpac drops I update all drivers with no issues at all.

I’ve updated my graphics cards through the AMD official site numerous times and each time without fault I always have either; really bad lag, game will freeze and shut down and sometimes a dialog box pops up when I run WoW that states the “system hardware has been changed, reset to default settings?”. This usually appears after I download the new AMD Adrenalin version (most recent). It’s almost as if Adrenalin installs and then uninstalls my Radeon RX 560X Graphics card.

I’ve tried deleting the AMD chipset and reinstalling, reinstalling both graphics cards (official AMD site numerous times and once via device manager), changed graphics in-game, had a couple of friends look at it also and to no avail. I’m at a loss on any resolution and if anyone at all can help in any way or guide me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it :frowning:

Thanks in advance!

Just a thought- try disabling the onboard graphics in your BIOS and setting your RX560X as the primary graphics. I’m no expert on built in graphics, but worth a shot. Maybe some more experienced people on here may have a solution if that doesn’t work

Unfortunately that didn’t end up changing anything, made it slightly worse in terms of overall lag, it was worth a shot though! Thank you for the reply and suggestion, appreciate the help regardless!
