Nerf to time warped badges coming

So here is the change to gaining time warped badges starting from this morning upon reset.

The first TW dungeon (and where applicable TW raid) gives 500 badges each, but each alt after this gets only 200.

Those who farmed badges beforehand will profit.

Those who haven’t are now locked out and will have a hard time buying all the new TW stuff with the new rules.

I have about 70 000 so I should be ok for a while but wish I had stockpiled more when it was easy.

Do everything on multiple alts, thats about it :smile:

… I normally like playing alts but for some reason with this expansion, the main is enough.

Yeah it’s unfortunately lot of work if you want to get lot and fast. I’ve accumulated mine over the years and before the nerf was enough I just did the first dungeon and just turn in the token you got from it.
Now with the event, yeah you need a ton and unfortunately no way around other than just grind.

I saw the vendor where you can hand in a bronze for 20 timewarped badges - shame it isn’t 200 to give us a chance
… I had a lot of timewarped badges before this expansion and spent them - silly me!

Oh well will pick my rewards carefully :+1:

I would recommend, if you do have alts, just pick the ones that are somewhat fast and give the most. Spam those as much as you have the energy to spam.

  1. Make a level 10 allied race mistweaver monk
  2. Queue up for timewalking as a healer
  3. Spinning Crane Kick the entire dungeon to death
  4. Turn in quest for badges
  5. Transfer badges to main character
  6. Go to 1.

I heard this works with any healer.

Saw someone in guild chat say they had done this with a priest, holy priest smite hurt a ton.

Yes it is quite difficult to satisfy everyone. If you had started your own new thread someone would have complained “oooohhh another thread on the same topic can’t you read the forums” :joy:

I had over 100k of them before the anniversary. Down to about 70k and that’s including the ones I earned during it.

New TW mogs for me and I’ll be empty by the time we get to legion

I won’t buy anything before Legion - too low res for my taste; definitely disappointed with the BC ones, especially for those prices. xD

Doing single runs with alts for the x200 each time I guess.

hell there was a bug years back when you could do the initial hand in quest over and over because it wouldnt count as completed in your log for the big cache of badges. that was a gooooood time.

I am glad I had tens of thousands TW badges spread on many characters
