While I appreciate the compliment (I think) I’m not a fan of that elf witch. 
He was talking about Alleria, not Sylvanas.

Please let us blood elves know what makes the elves on alliance the REAL high elves as you put it? Name change alone wont cut it sorry and staying to drool after hooman men

That is you’re opinion I like the name High elves more. Because they are high and mighty above the other races. xD
The name and the fact they didn’t went for Demon Koolaid and sided with monsters.
Just that.
Regardless, Blood Elf players are the ones who keep claiming that Blood Elves are High Elves despite the fact Blood Elves themselves see their High Elf past as the name suggest, a thing of the past.

I don’t think changing our name is necessary. Besides on Roleplay servers there is an Addon that 80% of Role players use that allows them to change their race name into anything they want.
For example a Human can call himself “Lordaeron citizen” instead of just humans. and anyone who has the addon can easily see this name.
I named myself “High elf” or “Quel’dorei” on the Rp severs and it works
The only problem is my blue skin, but that will change in Shadowlands

Well true blood elves dont want to be called high elves anymore, but its still the same race that wont change. This is the issue with the customizations too if you get the haircolors we have you will look exactly like us and what would make blood elves different anymore? We wear red instead of blue? Dont throw the body jewelry in this mix you know that is 1 of the worst customizations blood elves can get , or that we have silvermoon…city that hasnt been updated since burning crusade and still has half of it missing. So no because of this reason i dont want you guys to get blondes and browns it should stay only on blood elves. White and black is fine but rest should be only ours. You should also keep the tentacles in your hair because that is what makes you VOID ELVES. Honestly my personal opinion is alliance should have never gotten void elves… especially since they are copy pasta of us, but blizzard gave in when the high elf topics didnt end. They cant give you high elves because techically they would be giving horde community the finger at that point. They should have just stuck to their guns and let alliance players continue with the whining and never put void elves in the game and say you cant always get what you want in this life. sorry but thats just my personal opinion. Noone ever said high elves belong to the alliance anyways. handful of elves wearing blue doesnt make alliance.
Just visit stormwind then or some other alliance cities :3. And normal hair colors are not only bloodelfish Humans, Dwarves ect have them too.

Like i said handful of elves that did not want to change their names DOES NOT make this class alliance. Most of the race is on horde and it should not have been copy pasted to you guys.

That does not mean ‘‘some’’ aren’t part of the alliance. And hair colors is not really copy and paste because other races use the same hair color pallets.

Is that where it ends then? Hair colours. Not all the hair styles, Paladins and renaming Void Elves?
Because if so, then yeah, I’m all for it. Why not. I mean yeah, Alleria is not -exactly- the same as a normal Void Elf, as she became one in a different way. But hair colours is not really that big a deal, sure, let Void Elves have 'em.
Most people want Hair colors and some Normal hairstyles and give Void and blood elves both tattoos (warpaint) Bllue alliance red horde.

And those are all reasonable requests that I support wholeheartedly.
It would be nice if there was an extra option thrown in, I think our cousin from across the pond had an idea about fractal style tattoos for Void Elves which I think is thematically brilliant.
So you roll out something like.
Normal Hair colours for Void Elves and -some- not all normal hairstyles, for people wanting to play them as High Elves.
Warpaint/feathers options (Similar to the Wildhammer stuff) for both Blood and Void Elves (playing as High Elves), for those wanting the Ranger aesthetic.
Angular runic tattoos fractal patterns for those Blood Elves, and Void Elves wanting the arcane rune Mage type aesthetic like Rommath and Kael’thas have/had.
Those sound like fair requests.

I can’t see that happening, its a shame, I spent a bit of time thinking about what racials High Elves would get if released as a stand alone race, and I came up with a stormer of one, but as for the name tag, does it really matter that it says ‘Void Elf’ not ‘High Elf’ You’re on AD, same as I am, so I am going to assume you are a Roleplayer. It really doesn’t matter does it, really.
Its like the people who use TRP or MRP and type ‘Sin’dorei’ into their race name, rather than just leaving it as ‘Blood Elf’ (I mean that makes even less sense, as they mean the same thing!) Surely if you type ‘High Elf’ into your race description then it gets the message across that you are a High Elf, with no Voidy extra’s. Nobody can see the floaty text above your head, saying your name nobody can see your class (But can guess by your appearance), so really it doesn’t matter if it says Void Elf instead of High Elf on your character screen, when there is a Roleplay Add On that means you can change it to say ‘High Elf’. Thats how I would see it anyway?
You forgot the different voice sets and glyphes.

You already have some…arcane racial and getting the name high elf. At least you yourself know those are ridiculous and most likely will never happen but still… you have this small hope for it or want. So what stops you from starting to demand those after getting all other stuff you demanded for?
