Looks more than fine for bleeding edge gaming aside of some 4K AAAAA madness that would require RX 6800 XT or RTX 3080.

Bit newer CPU and bit newer GPU. IMHO not really worth the upgrade for no apparent reason.

And what are the problems? Solving will be way cheaper.

Well it is a long story

So I bought this PC two/three years ago in PC Specialist and then from the first day I started having random blue screens when I was playing WOW or working or just looking at the screen and doing nothing

I sent it back twice (they spent two months checking what is going on) and they told nothing wrong just a driver update needed and my face was ok….

And then again blue screen. They never disappear! I can be in a work meeting and boom blue screen or in the middle of a raid and boom blue screen

Today for some random reason I got a new blue screen and after that my PC doesn’t have sound anymore. I have updated everything and nothing…

It is very frustrating because I spend 2,000 pounds in this PC and from the first day it fails and the warranty was a big LOL !

I am just tired of this situation and I have decided to spend another 2000 pounds (bye bye holidays) again :frowning: to buy a new one and don’t worry about blue screens and now no sound anymore.

Weird pre-build PCs can have problems. Those blue screens should have an error code indicating category of the problem. Do a photo of it or note the error code and label.

  • It could be a weak or somewhat faulty PSU
  • It could be over-aggressive memory settings (XMP profile or manual timings that aren’t stable)
  • It could be a weird motherboard issue.

The most expensive things - GPU, CPU should be just fine. Replacing motherboard, PSU or RAM is a fraction of the price… and if it’s faulty you won’t have good resale value. The error code should help narrow it down a bit.

And there should be a MS app to browse through Windows error logs which may help as well.

I sent all this code to them I can try to find them ….

They told it is just a USB problem so I have changed everything connected to the USB port and nothing

Let me try to find the reports

For example that is one of the 1000 blue screens!

DPC Watchdog Violation is a common error related to SATA controller. One solution is to play with the SATA drivers but before that it could be good to check if any of the drives isn’t dying and causing this instability (looking SMART logs of a drive, using an app that checks drives).

For the SATA drivers fixes check this video:

Sorry I am very noob in this world

Can you tell me which software should I install to check to get the SMART logs please ?

Crystal Disk Info - https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/ - it it will show that something is red/bad with one of the drives then you will have to replace it (and backup any important data immediately). If both drives are fine then you would have to play with Windows as shown in the video.

Thank you very much I’m going to try it right now wow if I can save 2000 pounds and solve this problem I will gif you a wow mount

It shows everything ok https://ibb.co/c2HMTsw I guess. Should I do something else?

Drives look fine, so you would have to try the Windows drivers option:

Negative :frowning:
No sound :frowning: it is frustraiting

The question is - will it stop blue screen. Sound can be handled later if blue problem is gone.

Well! Again my blue screens are random! I don’t know how to force them :frowning:

Just use the PC after that change with the drivers and see if it will happen.
