New Laptop for WoW

Desktop is not a option for me as i dont have space in my home.

Therefore i am looking for a main new gaming laptop.

My current spec is:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ Processor
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB graphic card
  • 8 GB ram
  • 1000 GB harddisk
  • 15,6" Full HD screen
I dont even know if i can play BFA with my current spec.

My main question is that are there any good laptops out there that is good for playing BFA? A upgrade that is far better and future proof than what i have now would be good. I heard Acer Predator Helios 300 should be good.

I do dungeons, raids and mainly PVE in-game.

This laptop is “decent” although it wont max out WoW (it should handle WoW on medium settings easily). There are strong gaming laptops but they cost a lot - so how much you want to spend? do you have any requirements in terms of size, weight?

I do not have any terms of size or weight because my new laptop should be a laptop i use a main gaming device.

The only requirement i have is having a good FPS (no spikes, lags or anything) when playing world of warcraft on it. I am willing to spend around 1500 euros on a new one.

Around 1500EUR you can look at:

  • RTX 2070 sale/promo/outlet laptops (around 1500 if lucky)
  • RTX 2060 (around 1200-1300+ EUR) or GTX 1660Ti (1100+ EUR)
  • leftover new GTX 1070 non-max-Q laptops (1100+ EUR)
  • second hand GTX 1080 big laptops

You can check your local or EU-wide Clevo boutique reseller for custom configured laptops via:

as well as “standard” MSI/Alienware/Razer/Aorus… laptops via:
