Because it didn’t get published by Blizzard in a book the explicit purpose of which is to “clean up lore”? Which part of that do you not understand?
Or it could have been inconsequential, with the Horde picking up the slack.
When they broke the previously established rules of the meeting and Calia started screeching that she is “The rightful heir to Lordaeon”. Don’t leave the juicy bits out just because it doesn’t fit the narrative of painting Sylvanas as balck as possible.

And it’s an ilegal or controversial claimant to power. I would say that the sister of the guy who slaughtered nearly all of Lordaeon qualifies as controversial. Also she hijacked a diplomatic meeting to do so.
