I wonder if they could copy and paste some night elf customisation options because they use the same models.

i was looking in the PTR and in Customize screem …

Nightborne:
6. face options
3. skin colors
7. hair sstyles ( some i never seen ppl use at all because is so ugly)
6. hair colors
8. earrings
and than 4. Rune tattoos

and if u look at Void Elves that is not longer in game than the Nightborne…

  1. Faces
  2. Skin colors
  3. hair styles
  4. hair colors
  5. eye colors ( the Nightborne have only 1 eye color )
  6. earrings

( in game barbershop is more options for some extra’s , only for the nightborne stays the same what is in the Customize screem )

Everyone uses the first face as 2-3 are old rest is the 1st different lip colors.

Actually 6 with bald option 7.

2 were added in shadowlands, the same jewelry we had but on one ear.

It’s not even an eye color, it’s a blind eye option.

So yea gg devs, yet people scream Horde Bias.

Never stop complaining until we get some love sisters and brothers together we stand alone we fall.

But shouldn’t Nightborne be unique because they did have features that were unique to them, on their NPC models.

Lets have arcane glowing hands, narrow eyes and that sort.

Void evles have tentacles in their hair, I don’t know why they didn’t give mana infused hair, arcane had options to us.

But this is the most important imo

Yeah, they should be unique.
But all allied races are just reskins of pre-existing races.
Void elves are blue blood elves. Iron dwarves are dwarves. Highmountain tauren are just tauren. The most unique allied race we got are Vulpera, but they’re still reskinned goblins.

The REAL issue is that they didn’t use the current player Night elf skeleton when they introduced Nightborne npc’s. Think about it; They’d have to rebuild the race from the ground up if they were to give us the npc skeleton. They’d have to give them unique animations for all combat styles, they’d have to rework all armour sets to fit the Nightborne skeleton, and cover every animation all other races can go through as well.

Agree, but they at least look exactly the same as their npc counterparts.

Well we all know why void elves got blood elf features, but i do agree that nightborne needs some serious styling. If they fix the body shape and the eyes that would improve the nightborne already by a lot, but indeed lots is needed. They should really stop focusing on void elves who are already a very nice looking race and switch their attention to nightborne that is just plainly said horrible looking, and im assuming very few hordies actually play 1 due to the fact how bad they look like.

Because those npc counterparts use the same reskinned skeletons.
There’s 2 seperate nightborne skeletons. The npc skeleton, and the playable race skeleton.

It’s not even just about looking bad. The worst part is the lack of options. Every Nightborne looks the same. Point and case, look at my nightborne and OP’s. We’re identical twins with different gear on.

However they could give original NPC pose to the playable Nightborne, why couldn’t they give the faces? Or at least make it similar to it.

I predict that’s because they got a character model overhaul planned for Nightborne. Rendering any new customisation option useless after the overhaul. Or rather, i hope that’s the reason. If not, well, probably going to change races down the road tbh. Because there’s 2 faces and 2 hairstyles people default into. All nightborne look the same.

I’m not sure. I guess they wanted to re-use the facial expression animations from Night elves as well. I don’t recall there being many facial animations for Nightborne npc’s.

We all look the same. Everyone defaults into the same 2 hairtyles and 2 face options. Variety is the spice of life. Other races got way more customisation options.

And as Blizz’s apology to Nightbournes they should let them be Druids would totally play one <3

Sure ,more hairstyles and skin-tones,but some people asking for NPC version.I think playable ones look better than NPC .

Many wants npc faces, but we are not asking for complete remake of a whole race, but we are just asking for one option with narrow eyes

yes the did narrow eyes by Humans , and it is a easy job to do it , and no need redo all the armor heads pieces .

Nightelves have narrowish eyes on some faces.

Well will see in future.

I can promise you one thing as long as I’m alive I won’t stop complaining unless I get them
