Blue post says NR gear will not be released for AQ:
Guys, seriously, why would you delay the release of this gear? If you do it later, nobody will ever craft it or use it.
Give it to us now so we can have some fun with it.
If it comes out with P6 it will be totally wasted.
Do you really need it to be made even easier?
I can see multiple arguments against releasing it now:
a) #nochanges
b) Raids are easy enough as it is. You can get NR gear from Maraudon (orange side) and Nerub’enkan. Plus there is craftable mail gear.
c) Huhuran was doable in Vanilla with a lot less of a clue about the game. Viscidous is an optional boss anyway
Why are people freaking out over NR gear?
My guild did it in Vanilla with just Hunter/Shaman NR aura and perhaps 1 or 2 Maraudon pieces.

You’re overthinking the importance of NR gear, thus causing drama over nothing.
2 Greater nature protection potions and 1 priest in the soakers grp spamming prayer of healing will probably work just as fine. It’s only after 30% it will be tough, and with guilds having 8+ DPS warriors execute him it will be easy peasy
I don’t know a lot about AQ, but Blizzard is simply sticking to the original Vanilla patch release schedule. Items that were in patch X will be released in CLassic Patch X.
Same reason as a lot of items coming in the AQ patch are not already in Classic - because they were released in AQ patch back in Vanilla.
These items were released in Naxxramas patch, I don’t see why they should therefore be added prior to Naxxramas in CLassic.
So we can have fun with them, bro. If they are released later it will be a waste. Nobody will ever craft or use them.
What’s the point of releasing something that will never get used?
Why would they not get used… ? There will still be characters gearing up once Naxx releases, particularly Alts.
By the time Naxx comes out everyone will be facerolling AQ and alts will be carried and pick up all the loot that would have been disenchanted anyway.
I think only 2% of crafting recipes in Vanilla actually get used.
I was looking at some epic blacksmithing weapons on Wowhead the other day, which I never knew existed.
It is a weird design, like how BWL drops FR gear by which point Rag is on farm.
But they are sticking to the original timeline.
Its best to keep it the original way. Some resistance and wipes are needed for sure. AQ was meant to be hard.
Most people just wants to have a easy ride and sing we shall overcome.
By “fun” you mean making it easier to steamroll AQ40?
It’s used for 1 boss and 1 optional boss AT THE VERY MOST… how does that make the ENTIRE raid a faceroll?
By fun, I mean farm stuff, buy stuff, make stuff, use stuff… you know, play… a game…
If it comes out later it’s just wasted… there will be no “catch-up” use for it either… It’s 2020 bro. Not 2006.
You know there are alternative gear you can farm? You know, play the game the way people did in 2005 and 2006…

A.k.a make money crafting? Mass crafting bracers for large brilliant shards?.. Although mail set is in p5 so you still can mass make shards.
