I mean, humans are basically the most fantasy race in the whole WoW setting, they are forged by titans, corrupted and twisted by old gods and influenced by whatever Azeroth is.
They are beings of arcane ( Masters of all magic through this), Physically blessed through their viking / stoneforged heritage ( Warriors etc. ), have strong wills developed durring the curse of flesh ( light , void , fel , death magic etc.) and are diverse enough to become rogues , hunter or similiar through training.
It makes no sense how other races who are not as blessed and are far more generic low fantasy like blood elfs / trolls etc, are put into focus over any human.
No blood elf should be even close to the magic skills of humans. We saw it during the troll wars.
So blizzard please follow your own lore and gives us humans are focus again to make the story interesting.
I agree. Why are elf mages allowed anyway after all the trouble they’ve caused throughout history. Elves cannot be trusted with magic. It should be outlawed for them.
They are titan made ? Titans are order / arcane. And we see in the chronicals / it is mentioned how humans learn in a speed and power that suprised the elves teaching them.
Also see Jaina, Rhonin , Khadgar. The only other mages who come close are Dragons or Illidan ( who was trained by a human in magic during the war of the ancient)
both are just real world humans with skins. While humans have fantasy lore behind them outside of the generic stuff.

If Trolls are inspired on (cannibalistic) Human tribes and Elves on snobby, rich humans (or whatever), you gotta realize that Humans in Warcraft are literally based on the trope of Adam and Eva (Humans being created by god, eat from the forbidden fruits of Eden, get corrupted with Sin and turn into something else than they were intended to be).

Order =/= arcane. Sure, arcane magic is often used by beings of order, but they’re not the same. Also, titans don’t limit themselves to arcane - they use other types of magic too. Going by that logic Earthen should be better mages since they were also created by titans, and didn’t suffer the curse of flesh.
Not mentioning Azshara is criminal. Saying that dragons (especially blue) “come close” to human mages and not the other way around is grotesque.

You can’t put humans at #1 when Azshara and aspects exist.
