I died twice!!!
Literally, what the hell, Blizz? Wasn’t that supposed to be a tool to experience the story for casuals and non-raiders? Instead, I’m just thrown into a random fight with unknown tactics, no explaination and actually have to watch a Youtube video which is something I HATE!!!
I really hoped to finish this story this week, but well… looks like I’ll have to wait for next week or so, hopefully to get carried.

No, I’m deadly serious.
You don’t want me slacking in LFR? You don’t want me in your raid groups? You don’t want baggage?
Don’t worry - I don’t want it too… I don’t enjoy getting kicked. I want to experience the story, that’s it.
Give us a proper STORY mode, and I’ll leave you all alone, with raiding communities, youtube videos and all that crap.
Otherwise I’ll have no other option but to queue and hopefully get carried.

Im a filthy casual. I dont engage in M. I dont like challenging content. BUT Lately open world is becomin ridiculously easy. Oneshot everything.
Somethin must be a bit hard. Died twice? happens.

Five times already. And I already watched a video.
I just can’t orient myself in a 3D environment and find platform.
Looks like I’ll give up and queue LFR next time. I hoped to avoid it.

Hard or not, that’s one thing. There are other issues.
I wasn’t aware I had to be quick and summon my mount, so I died. My fault.
Next attempt, the NPCs died, so I did too. That’s a first when playing with NPCs.
Third attempt, the NPCs just stood there doing nothing. This isn’t something we can solo, so of course I died.
Gave up for now, sent a bug report, and logged off. Will try again this evening.

I finally did it, on my 6th try. I didn’t find any bugs, other that once my npcs died too.
Regardless, it’s too hard. Far too hard for a story mode. Too many punishing traps which lead to insta death.
Remember, not all of us are raiders and at least some of us don’t enjoy raiding because of punishing mistakes that lead to wipes.
Story mode shouldn’t be the same as a normal raid, but with NPCs. It should be a tool to experience the story.

agreed had 4 atempts now and starting to p me off last atempt phase 2 i mounted and followed rings but no where to land and instadeath again does not feel like my definition of “story” mode

I haven’t done this bit yet, but from what you say this doesn’t sound good.
Due to arthritis and coordination issues I struggle with high movement fights (Standing still and blasting all good fun, constantly being chased in circles or big puddle dodging in dark environments on cliff edges, glad when it is over).
I think Blizzard are missing the point sometimes with regard to non raiders whose main focus is the storyline and lore.
Needing to watch a 3rd party video to understand and get through the fight, is gonna take away the reason for going in there for the ending. 
Why aren’t the npcs giving out instructions to guide us ? (this could be optional and turned off)
Even Brann manages this, (but doesn’t follow his own advice which is funny)

I just buy boosts for gold to gear myself to current tier.
Low gear is never fun, But having to spend time with wipes or progressing boss fights is also not fun.
Just wish blizzard would Move away from
Token —> Find Booster —> wait for them to complete said content —> wait for vault day.
They could just sell the gear straight from blizz store, Less time spent for us all.

Some of us just want to see the story, the lore.
By the way, after this raid you need to do one more dungeon to complete the campaign on K’Aresh. You can complete it in NPC mode too, and this time the NPC s could be leading the way.
I’m not sure why Blizzard turned Dimensius Story Mode into a regular raiding experience when one needs to learn mechanics via youtube videos.

Games have a failure state.
Its not in raiding mode haha and u can die 100 times and even kill the boss
I finished it on my 4th attempt. First two tries I landed in space and just dropped to my death not knowing I had to mount up. 3rd death was again not mounting up after defeating first mini boss.

Untrue, if you die, the boss fight resets.

Nope it doesnt resets atleast not in last phase tbh.
If you die on second phase (during flight, or if adds wipe you with purple crap), you start anew.
