this issue is more complex then open certain realm for transfer. you have alot of dead realms,blizzard must merge this server soon as possible.
Golemagg, a server roughly of Firemaw size, is opened for both, paid character transfers and character creation for quite some time. And yet, it didnât see a massive influx of players from Ashbringer, Nethergarde, Mirage or Thekal (those are only smaller servers with some leftover Horde population). Actually, Ashbringer got emptied thanks to FCTs to a medium sized server (Mograine) rather than PCTs to a megaserver.
FCTs appear to be the cause of massive movements, not PCTs. Remember Firemaw->Gehennas fiasco?
While I canât speak for everyone it might be because people wanting transfers refuse/donât want to settle for the second best when it comes to paid transfers. Judging from this and other similar topics and discussions people only see the Biggest realm as any sort of stability guarantee.

Yea who doesnât miss sitting in queue for literal 10 hours? Seems worth it to open the server so a niched language can recruit players from other servers. I suggest you either migrate to another server or start snagging the people that start fresh/boost on Gehennas.
