Patch 9.0.5 PTR is Now Available

That hurts because it’s true :joy: damn you, sir!

Well, I don’t have anything against it, as long as you guys are happy :stuck_out_tongue:

-Vault is basically headless chicken with stairs, can we at least get a better drop rate in raids?
-Sure, here’s return of Valor Points.
-That’s not what we aske…
-Now it’s locked under completely different content grind and if you bring this up again we’ll lock it behind arena rating.

It won’t, that’s again half a year or more, without meaningful content.
The same kind of content drought that plagued BFA.

I can live with the “anima drought” :scream:
However the lack of content, is not good for the game.

The systemlands is way too convoluted for its own good, and won’t retain subs.

I’m sure that even “Classic TBC” would draw a bigger number of players.
As in there would actually something to do there.
Unlike Shadowlands that already started to taste stale a month ago.

Its nice that all you mythic plus runners are happy, i want everyone to be happy but to me it sounds like 9.1 and flying and all other things that the people who are not doing mythic plus are waiting for has been postponed in order for blizzard to address this.

hey, can you integrate normal and heroic raids into the LFR search tool, so we can rid of the boosting communitys? maybe upper the boss limit to 2 times per week, because the dropchance is anyway low. its hard to find normal/heroic raids these days as a purely pugplayer.

This would not work. People break cc, jump out of soaks in the last second, run away from people instead of stacking, stack instead of running away etc. Normal and heroic has more mechanics and they hit harder if you mess up. It would be a kick-fest with people calling out who they think messed up and players always seem to think that someone else messed up and you end up kicking someone who actually knows what they’re doing but were not vocal in the chat blaming others.

So, i have unlocked Keystone Master 15+ all dungeons on this main.
Then i sincerely hope this applies to your alts Blizzard.

Response on this please a.s.a.p.

Why would it apply on alts? XD

Please remember us casual players that cannot do M+ for various reasons.
We are still stuck with our 197 gear

As someone else wrote:
Casual players - Give us valor back!
Blizzard - Sure, valor now is in mythic + only.
Casual players - whaaa
Hardcore players - Lol yes! Suck it up casual players. Keep paying that sub so I get more content.

This doesn’t make sense:

  • Firstly, all Mythic Keystone dungeons already drop item level 200 loot into your Great Vault. As indicated by the reduction in drop rate to items inside Mythic Plus dungeons, the main gear focus from it is from the Vault and not the dungeon itself.
  • Subsequently:
    1. Why would I want to clear all eight Mythic Plus dungeons at five, in order to upgrade the loot to what is already rewarded for getting fours done in the vault?
    2. Why would I want to clear all eight Mythic Plus dungeons at ten, in order to upgrade the loot to what is already rewarded for getting sevens done in the vault?
    3. Why would I want to clear all eight Mythic Plus dungeons at fifteen, in order to upgrade the loot to what is already rewarded for getting tens done in the vault?

The obvious fix is hence to either:

  • change where the upgrades occur (clearing all at four unlocks 207, clearing all at seven unlocks 213, clearing all at ten unlocks 220), or
  • change the item level of the upgrades (clearing all at five unlocks 210, clearing all at ten unlocks 220, and clearing all at fifteen unlocks 226).

This change literally does almost nothing for me (and I suspect many others). I would get 0.7 item levels overall from upgrading my necklace… …and that is it.

err? Lol

Valors weekly capped ontop of this Raid gear drops uptoo 233 ilevel gear

:man_facepalming: :man_facepalming:

whats showing “Rip raids” Lol…

Tbh. M+ is Casual Content in alot of senses so i dont rly know what this reaction is susposed to be. i think alot of people have lost the meaning to the word casual in this game.

i mean im guessing ur talknig the playerbase who litterally does not group wityh other people?

Breaking News: Blizzard does things that should have been done during PTR. Thanks for paying and playing a game that is broken for months.

Correct. That should be like that.

Please note that you will not be able to upgrade items that dropped before patch 9.0.5.

While we have technical reasons for this, we also want to avoid the feeling that you should go through months of item history and stuff your bags and your bank in preparation for this.

In-game, items that can be upgraded will be clearly labeled as such.

What a stupid idea. What was the point to play till this upgrade then? It’s looks like laughing into our faces…

By looking at Raid and M+ rankings, currently above 6000 people have access to 233 drops from Mythic raid, and a hell of a lot more who has access to 226 from easier bosses.
If we could apply the same to M+, the top 6k people are currently doing 18-20 dungeons in time. (all 18, some 19, 20)

So I think there should be 2 more checkpoints, one for 17/18 (226), and one for 20 (233 weapon only).

Atleast for the rest of this season. Next season they could limit pvp upgrades like M+ and do something with raid too, but currently there is no reason to limit.

idea… -1 valor point penalty for leavers and a query where players can vote if they want end the run without loosing valorpoints

Beacuse the vault is 1 item / week and if you had no time that week it’s one choice that may not be an upgrade, or even a sidegrade. The upgrade system is to fill the gap in a smaller amount of time, to be a similar timeframe (we’re late unfortunately) to the PVP gearing.

Every…damn…time… Jesus, their release record (broken content), has to be some sort of record. Legion, bfa and now sl. History have a way to repeat itself.

How about fixing some of the bugs you have in the game before patching in new stuff? Massive game breaking bugs in pvp, extremely underpowered dps classes, and completely worthless conduits / covenants, extremely underpowered covenant abilities on some classes and extremely powerful ones on others (mage/druid).

Once again Blizzard didn’t listen to what the players were saying.
Players wanted valor points which means to the majority of the player base, a vendor to buy gear from.
But somehow Blizzard heard “get valor to upgrade existing gear”

Translation:
We won’t be nerfing the FOTM specs just yet because if we did nobody would fall for our 2 bit scheme in the future. Players who buy a level 50 boost to play a FOTM spec should at least get to play it in its OP form for an entire tier.
