The poor, the discontent, the orphans of war and homeless, I summon thee! We have had ENOUGH! Whilst Stormwind spends hundreds of golds to rebuild a park, a memorial, to send men off to die in strange lands; our own people continue to bleed! Westfall is torn to shreds, withering away and Lordaeron is ravaged by the latest war, made only worse by the surface fighting the King engaged us in. He never meant to win the battle! Of course not! That would have meant that his beloved undead lover would have lost her throne!
Rise up, defenders of the TRUTH, those who are too tired to have sons and daughters, brothers and sisters and husbands and wives DIE on strange soil, to waste their lives away for the greed and undead obsessions of our BOY king!
The North is still in ruins, destroyed by the foul Scourge forces and NOTHING has been done for over thirty years to restore it, leaving it ripe for the Undead to claim. And what does our young king do? He signs a peace treaty with the VERY SAME people who would have us dead, the very unliving.
I summon you, sons and daughters of Lordaeron, of Alterac, of Gilneas and of Westfall. I summon you to FIGHT for your homeland. To FIGHT to restore OUR lands once and for all, to rekindle the once glorious flame of the Alliance, by the Alliance people themselves. At the end of the eighth month, we shall all gather and protest. Gather and have our voices heard! Too long have we stood idle, waiting for JUSTICE to be made. Our time is NOW!
What?
A Stormwind protest against the armistice and the King! This protest has been started by Scarlets and is loosely based on the propaganda fliers released in the 8.3 patch, to be found in Tirisfal.
When?
This Saturday at around 9 o’clock server time.
Who?
These protests are mostly aimed at Scarlets, Defias, Syndicate and other enemies of the crown. However, we won’t be marching in with our red masks and Scarlet tabards as that validates for the whole protest to be shut down. Our goal is to spread awareness to the King’s incompetence and that can only be done if we are taken seriously.
Thus, the face of the protest are going to be two missionaries from a small church from up North, who are trying to defend the few left civilians in the area.
Why?
There are a lot of factions unfriendly to the Alliance and with this flimsy peace treaty, we seek to capitalize on it and cause chaos. We aim at first for our messages to be reasonable and generally be something everyone can agree to. “Why yes, I do believe that the Undeads should not be welcomed in Stormwind” or “Of course, you shouldn’t make peace with the same people who murdered entire cities and villages of innocents.” and slowly, we will try to radicalize those concepts. That, of course is in due time.
Guard guilds will also be present to maintain the peace. They will not be stopping the protest out right however out of fear of it developing into something far uglier. If you know who and where your enemies are, you can at least sleep peacefully at night. Should it get too wild, the guards will of course intervene and disperse the crowd.
