I think you have power on the server, Perroy, and that comes with responsibility. In a case like this, you are using that to impose a negative atmosphere on a specific part of the RP demographic that is also here to enjoy themselves. And you are not giving them any chance to avoid it, because you are effectively invading their RP space.
I can see from the pinned topic that you want to make Argent Dawn a better place. I purpose to you that initiatives like this has the opposite effect. If you doubt that, I suggest you speak to some of the Renâdorei players that felt OOCly reluctant to RP in Stormwind after your last riot.
For every one of these, thereâs several who enjoy people treating their characters as is fitting within the setting. Personally, I wish people treated Death Knights with more reluctance than they currently do, because that conflict is the whole reason the class is interesting.
Certain races or classes bear IC stigmas. If people canât accept them, they should RP as something else.
It is important to realise your renâdorei, warlock, Shadowmage, undead and so on can and will be hated by some. Especially in certain spots.
We are not really doing any PCU evils here? We are just playing and roleplaying, following the lore. Scarlets hate the Undead and they also have a hatred against the Alliance. Simple as.

My last riot event was not in any way related to renâdorei characters and was actually focused on whispers on Nâzoth corrupting weak-willed mostly human commoners (making void elves in many ways the protagonists) but also I donât care that people who think theyâre void elves IRL now donât RP in Stormwind. Thatâs based + they should check out second life
Weâre a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end performing some of the hardest, most mentally demanding attrocities. Over, and over, and over all for nothing more than a little stupid ghoul saying we did.
Weâll punish our selfs doing things others would consider torture, because we think itâs fun.
Weâll spend most if not all of our free time min maxing the plagues of an imprisoned human all to draw out a single extra point of damage per second.
Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same graveyards over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know evety little detail such that some have attained such DK nirvana that they can literally raise these ghouls blindfolded.
Do these people have any idea how many runeswords have been smashed, cauldrons over heated, intestines and brains destroyed in frustration? All to latter be referred to as bragging rights?
These people honestly think this is a battle they can win? They take our Stormwind? Weâre already building a new one without them. They take our taverns? DKs arenât shy about throwing their money else where, or even making the taverns our selves. They think calling us monsters, war criminals is going to change us? Weâve been called worse things by prepubescent Light worshippers with toy hammer. They picked a fight against a group thatâs already grown desensitized to their strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of attrition theyâve threatened us with. Who take it as a challange when they tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we canât is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.
DKs are competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. Youâre not special, youâre not original, youâre not the first; this is just another red dragon genocide.
