People refused to RP with certain guilds way before PCU existed…
Some things will never change 
Building up some big group as the scourge of the realm and a true evil lets you pat your self on the back a lot and play at being an underdog hero.
And this isn’t some random guess I’ve literally seen people in discords post as if they’re the underground resistance of AD for this.

Can you be more precise in this because this doesn’t fit with any timeline I know of? The only time it would fit was during early BfA when Horde rebel RP was a thing, and in that time the Sylv Loyal guilds outnumbered the rebels massively so the only time this ‘mortal danger’ situation could have happened doesn’t fit either. Did you get told this second hand or something?

I honestly think the whole PCU/Anti-PCU debates and drama is the most embarrassing thing to come from AD. The levels of paranoid frenzy some people on the anti side work themselves up into is just ridiculous - I was targeted and harassed for being an ex-PCU member who just disliked the drama, I lost a good few friends who were so shocked and appalled(!) that I had past membership that they completely severed ties and called me all sorts of things - one outright refused to believe me when I said I had never encountered any transphobia or homophobia in all the years I was a member. (Then I got my COVID vaccine and felt compelled to rejoin, so clearly the conspiracy runs way deeper than we realise.)
To all that are so insanely wrapped up about WoW drama they will end friendships: get a job and do some exercise, you’ll feel so much better and regret however many years of your life you wasted on this.

Personally I have never ignored a role player that came @ me IG and I will continue to play like this, the same goes for my guild and the PCU members that I know – unless people specifically request it. Most of the “I hate the PCU” cases are special mfs that months or even years ago had their character IC attacked or something like this and became OOC crazy ever since

That is actually not the case, the people that hate on us don’t actually know anybody in the PCU officer or member group besides Perroy (and me lol) by name only. In fact I have never heard let alone seen the people in game that have absolute meltdowns over PCU prior to their insane melts
If only the things you brought up where the actual only issues – PCU officers who seemingly have been singled out entirely random have received absolutely top insanius IRL threats

Ftr, if someone in the PCU is griefing you or being a bad sport, it’s a historically proven fact that officers will at the very least give them a stern talking to, if not a boot in the former case.

Does make you wonder why certain member(s?) are forum banned though. I know at least one was for crap talking about me on here. Though it was a year or so ago? I hope they’ve improved their attitudes and the group know to stop people like that.
