The Blood of Martyrs is now recruiting. This group will represent a sect of the Scarlet Brotherhood loosely based on the new propaganda pieces added IG by Blizzard (The Last Menethil, etc) formed following a failed quest to reclaim an accursed relic in the name of the Scarlet Crusade. Despite this bitter set-back - one among many - they still strive to either to reclaim Lordaeron or martyr themselves in the process.
This group started out as a slightly more pragmatic take on everyone’s favorite religious fanatics. Yet as time has taken it’s course, and the hopelessness of their quest has set itself fully, The Fellowship of the Blood of the Summertide Martyrs have grown increasingly zealous and hostile towards all those who do not bear their colors. The Martyrs hold an innate connection to the teaching and ideals of the Grand Crusader Saidan, and oppose fiercely any suggestions of demonic corruption within the Scarlet Crusade, no matter how true they may be. Shrewd and without mercy, they care not for honor in battle, only victory for the righteous. In this sense, the Martyrs attempt to subvert human groups with similar goals in Lordaeron, exploit the turmoil of Sylvanas’s disappearance to strike at the remaining Forsaken before they can re-organize, play various enemy factions against each other, spread misleading pro-Scarlet propaganda and generally try to reclaim at least a thimbleful of the power the Crusade had in its golden age.
You can expect the typical PCU-standard good stuff like fully NPC’d events, frequent cross-guild conflicts, RP PVP battles and campaigns
